Good!

We just have just checked out today after 10 days, and we couldn’t fault the hotel at all. Value for money , great location and the staff were helpful! Rooms were clean and cleaning staff were fantastic. The staff at reception booked us a taxi! Genuinely couldn’t fault

Very good for the money

I was really nervous to stay here due to being used to 5 star hotels and seeing some negative reviews however I am completely shocked. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bellevue Aquarius. The rooms were clean a bit outdated and in need of a refurb but the beds were comfy. The only major issue with the rooms is if you are on level 4 or 5 it is quite a walk to your room and involved a lot of stairs. Also, the keycards were very faulty to the point we had to go to reception on a daily basis sometimes twice a day to get them sorted. The pool area is your average blue sunbeds vibe. The pool itself is nice and quite deep. There are many many many missing and loose tiles on the pool and it needs a good refurb however it doesn’t really cause a issue because you can’t touch the floor anyway and the pool itself
Is still lovely. The food is really nice. It’s nothing fancy but it’s all tasty. When eating you get a drink bought to you and it is a buffet style. They switch up the hot options on a daily basis but have chicken nuggets burgers hotdogs and chips for those picky eaters. The staff are very lovely and attentive and can’t do any more for you. They are all very talkative and kind. The only negative things about the all inclusive is snacks are not included and the cocktails come from a vending machine they are still nice it would just be nice to have frozen ones. Also, on our last day we weren’t flying home until 19:30 and when we checked out at 12 you have to have your wrist band cut off and then you have to pay for your drinks until you leave we were allowed to have dinner but not and drinks. If you come to the hotel on your first day early you are not allowed the last dinner to be included only breakfast. We arrived at 00:30 which is why we were allowed dinner.
The entertainment has room for improvement however I do believe they are probably doing their best with the budget they’ve got. The breakfast is served 8-10 dinner 1-3 and tea is 7-9. Drinks are 10-11. The hotel also has self catering facilities in the rooms which consists of pots pans cutlery a stove top a toaster a microwave and an oven and mugs and glasses. The beach is a 10 minute walk away so are the shops and pubs there are a few pubs a bit closer to the hotel aswell. Overall the experience at this hotel was very good and I will definitely be returning. It is a good price it just needs a good refurb.

ROOM 402, INFESTED

The location for this hotel is spot on, food is what it is, and the staff are spot on apart from this one guy, we got put in room 402, didn't notice the first night because we weren't looking for it, next night, my mate started itching like mad, and there's all these little red bug's on him, and weird little worms burrowing into his stomach, I was fine there was nothing on me, he went the chemist and bought creams and tablets, next night, same again, just on him, he was caovered in bites and holes in his stomach, we couldn't see any in the apartment, next night, it was my turn, they were all over me, little red insect and like tiny maggots half sticking out of my stomach, we had a proper good look this time and the beds were infested with all kinds of tiny bugs, white one's, green one's, I was awake all night, didn't seem much point changing room, we was travelling home that day, eventually went down to reception about 7am, covered in bites, blood all over my body from them, I was showing the guy on reception, Friday 22nd may, he was just standing there laughing at me, i said "look at the Fu*king state of me, 402's infested, it needs fumigating", he just laughed and said, "I will send someone to check on the animals later" didn't know if he was taking the pi*s or what, I went back the room and my head was itchy, I scratched it over the sink and loads of bugs, flea's fell out, I ended up not jumping on the flight home incase I caused another pandemic, my mate still flew home as his had seemed to die down a bit, he got home and went straight to arrowepark hospital, they then found eggs in his arm, he then had to see the tropical disease unit in Liverpool, they told him, them eggs shouldn't be in Lanzarote, there mainly from South America or Asia, so god knows how they ended up there, I spoke with the lady on reception later that day, she was very apologetic, I still had to find somewhere to stay, she gave me a room near the pool which i had to pay for, I'm not bothered about the hotel and flight costs, don't get me wrong, I'll still try and get my money back but not hopeful, just want to which still had bug's, I just want to make people aware, check your beds and be wary of room 402

ROBBED DURING OUR STAY – DO NOT GO!

I already wrote a review back in August 2025, right after our stay ended—but I feel the need to write again so more people actually see this and think twice before ever booking this place.
My boyfriend and I stayed three nights at Hotel Bellevue, and during that time, our room was broken into and we were robbed. A laptop, a phone, and several personal belongings were stolen. We had our suitcases packed and nearly prepared for departure that day—but when we returned to the room, everything was completely torn apart. Our belongings were thrown all over the room, suitcases left open, exactly like in the photos I’m attaching. Im even posting a police record to believe.
And the response from the hotel? They told us there are no cameras. Supposedly there was security—but of course, they “didn’t see anything.” Right… so I guess a fairy came in and robbed us.
The condition of the hotel itself is unacceptable. The rooms are dirty, there are cockroaches literally everywhere, and the pool is broken. There are also stairs everywhere, so you have to carry heavy luggage up and down with no assistance. The hotel is open toward the harbor, right next to a nightclub, and there is absolutely no real control over who comes in and out. Anyone can just walk in.
To make things even more absurd? Even my raspberries disappeared from the fridge. Apparently, the thief was hungry too.
We strongly suspect it may have been the cleaning staff. I repeatedly told them I did not want housekeeping, yet they kept entering the room anyway. The cleaner saw exactly where my backpack and valuables were every single day, and we later found many reviews from other guests suggesting similar experiences.
I am writing this again so people are aware. Please, be cautious and do not stay here. It is not safe, and the hotel clearly does not take any responsibility for what happens to its guests.

Good place to stay

Me and my Mate stayed at the Bellevue aquarium hotel. Overall the hotel was good the food, drinks were good. The entertainment was outstanding but I do think they do need different entertainment on each week. Me and my mate found that every week they had the same entertainment on.,
The hotel staff were great we had a problem with our electrics within a day it was all sorted out.,
Personally I do think the cleaning staff do need to do better at their jobs the come round every other day. Only give us only one toilet roll.
