Our first Spanish experience- Fab!
We cooked at our apartments and found the apartment was well managed and well equipped for our needs. The staff were friendly, helpful and the rooms very clean with beautiful aesthetics.
The location was safe even in the evening with short walks to tourist locations: parks, mosques and bus stops short walks away to take you to further out places (Alhambra).
Airport fare from Malaga airport is quite pricey, so book a coach trip, which is cheap and reliable.
Also use google translate for any correspondence from the apartment as it’s all in Spanish, to avoid any surprises at check out.
We would definitely go back.

Disaster!
PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF GRIEF AND DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!
Firstly the taxi driver dropped us off at the wrong location and we had to struggle with our luggage up cobbly streets. It was very difficult to locate.
Once we arrived at the apartment (2C) we quickly realised we had been catfished!!!
The apartment said it can accomodate 6 people max. That is a huge lie. It can only comfortably accomodate 4 people. It has one bathroom and the door has glass panels so there is no privacy.
The apartment itself is dingy and smells musty. The lighting was poor and the sofa was stained with a tear.
I immediately contacted the agent and expressed my dismay. He was not helpful at all. We then had to book another hotel and left the apartment immediately. I told the agent we had left and asked for a refund.
They refused saying that the apartment is exactly as described.
It definitely was not!
It is probably a 2 star accomodation at most.
Do not book this apartment if you want a restful stay!
I still have not got my money back and they are not responding to my messages.
We stayed in the Granada Center hotel which was amazing. Luckily they had rooms available.
