Perfect Holiday

Fantastic little Hotel in the most perfect location.
Rooms are fairly small and basic but have everything you need and are spotlessly clean, in fact the whole hotel was spotless. The cleaners are amazing.
Breakfast was basic and a bit repetative but ok if only there for a week.
The pool is clean, although a little on the small side and therefore did warm up a bit too much through the day, but it was a very hot spell of weather.
Bar staff were brilliant, especially Jessica and her male colleague who's name I did not get. They were always very polite, friendly and served super quick.
The only real negative I'd give was (as others have mentioned) the sunbeds could do with replacing as they are all a bit tired.
All in all, a lovely place and we had a fantastic holiday. 100% would stay again.

Little Gem in Es Cana

Just got back from a fabulous week a Mar Y Huerta in Es Cana. This hotel is a little gem, don't be put off ny Hostal in the name there is nothing Hostal about it. Everywhere is super clean and everyone is so friendly. Big shout out to Marisa our cleaner who not only sorted our room evert day she was always there with a big Buenas every morning
Breakfast was lovely in a very relaxed atmosphere and a great start off for the day.
The rooms are basic but comfortable, we had a great night sleep.
The location is perfect, right by the beach and you can stroll to other parts of Es Cana also just a couple of mins walk to get the ferry to other parts of the island or Formentera.
This hotel and its location are amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others to go and enjoy.

4 star stay

Staff: amazing, chef lovely and all waiting staff, reception, cleaners so friendly and polite.
Food: what we had was ok. It’s not 5 star but you’re not paying 5 star prices, kudos for the teabags though.
Pool: very good. Sunloungers need replacing and it really does need umbrellas that move and more of them. They were at a premium and only the early birds managed to snag one.
Rooms: lovely and clean. Good views. We were allocated room 127. It is at the end of a corridor with 2 other rooms. Room 127 has the bathroom separate, directly opposite your room across the corridor. This was not a problem for us, you are given a key for the bathroom and it’s just yours. Although I do think a reduction in room rate should be applied if you are allocated it. Room 127 has a lovely view facing the beach. Air con works, safe in the room and tv. Maids came and cleaned everyday but for some reason didn’t replenish the toilet roll. Very bizarre.
Entertainment: this hotel does not offer entertainment but does do a happy hour for drinks and a quiz. The quiz was good fun.
Would we stay again? Yes in a heart beat.
My only negatives are that you can literally hear next door snoring and the sunloungers that need replacing and lack of shade.

Great stay!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Mar Y Huerta, eventhough we have stayed in Es Cana several times over the years, this was our first time staying at this wonderful hotel. On arrival, the reception staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome straightaway. The whole place is absolutely spotless and smells amazing everywhere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, our balcony had a view over the street in front with a view of the sea to the side. Great for people watching! Breakfast was ok, pool area was good, I think the sunloungers could do with replacing before too long as they're getting a bit saggy but still completely relaxing. Snacks from the bar were nice at lunchtime, I had the tuna mayo & sweetcorn sandwich a couple of times, that was so good! Location is fabulous, handy for everything. This hotel is an absolute gem, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we should come back to Es Cana.

Great stuff

Fantastic little hotel, stopped for ten days, the rooms are clean, comfortable with TV and WiFi , staff are great, nothing was to much trouble, even opened the kitchen for us so we could get breakfast before our early flight home, great location bang next to the beach and restaurants
