Can’t go wrong here.

This is a lovely place to stay while walking the Camino Del Norte. The building is cute cozy and comfy. The owner started a fire in the wood stove of the gazebo where he served a delicious breakfast. When I was ready to resume my walk, he escorted me to the street and pointed out the right direction.

A most memorable stay!!

Casa de Aldea Villalén is a gorgeous home in a very tranquil country-side setting! The grounds are beautiful and the hosts very warm, accommodating and responsive! My husband, three friends and I stayed there one night in the Camino del Norte. The rooms, equipped with private bathrooms, were spacious and included two nice chairs and a desk and chair, refrigerator, and TV! Whether you are a pilgrim or vacationing in the area, we highly recommend Villalén. At the premise we had the most incredible and abundant, 5-course meal we've ever had in our caminos! Thank you so much for a memorable stay!

An ideal stopover to recharge your batteries

A quiet and charming place, a generous and adorable welcome from the couple of owners, excellent cuisine both for the evening meal and for breakfast, a stopover which will recharge your batteries before continuing the pilgrims' path.

Very very nice place!

Located in quiet area, you can relax completely, forget your routine in big city, just enjoying moment listening voices of birds. There are a lot of really magnificent places to see and walk around. The house looks really beautiful, room is cosy, the bathroom is equipped by everything you need. And the hosts are just great, very welcoming, helpful! Everything is perfect!!!!

A highlight of our trip

My husband and I spent two nights at Villalen this October. We were traveling east along the coast by rail after bicycling the Camino de Santiago. Our hosts were delightful: friendly in the most natural way. We felt at home immediately. The room was lovely, with a well-equipped private bath. The dueña is gracious, well-organized and efficient. Breakfasts were homemade and heavenly. Carlos went out of his way to find us bicycles to rent and we spent a glorious day cycling to the beach and along the charming small roads and paths that wind through the area. We were picked up and dropped off at the train station at no extra charge. In all, Villalen proved to be one of the high points of a great trip!
