Delightful small hotel

Stayed at Lagar de Costa for four nights and enjoyed our time there very much. We would’ve liked to have stayed longer.
Situated right in the heart of the Rías Baixas and Albariño wine region and just a short walk from a beautiful coastline, the hotel is close to some beautiful beaches and lovely towns such as Cambados. Here there are many good restaurants and bars.
Sonia and her family who own the hotel are lovely, friendly people and help made our stay a pleasure.
The hotel itself is immaculate, really tastefully decorated and has excellent rooms with quality en suites. We stayed in both a standard double and a superior and both were superb. One with sea views. Both overlooking the winery’s own vineyard.
Sonia conducts a tour/talk every morning in the wine Bodega which is very interesting. The Lagar de Costa wine is really excellent and you can buy direct.
I would definitely recommend this charming hotel to anyone.

Perfecto!!

Two reasons to select Lagar de Costa as your place to stay.
Very nice place to spend the night AND a super winery where they grow the grapes and produce the wine.
All done in a family style kind of way.
Very calm place, good rooms, in the middle of the Albariño vineyards close to the Ocean.
The wine is tasteful so please give both a try.

Relaxing escape

We took a quick overnight here to experience the Rías Baixas. This is a very new inn that has been added to an old family vineyard. They have done a great job with the rooms and the entire set up. The rooms are spacious and immaculate.
We arrived around lunch time and asked for a restaurant recommendation. We were told A Fonte do viño in the town of Cambados - a great tip in a cute old town.
After our tour of the bodega and a tasting, we were able to eat the cheese and fruit we had picked up in town in the breakfast room. Other guests had the foresight to bring sausages to cook on the brick grill available in the yard.
We were here off season, but the place would be great family fun In the summer. There is a swimming pool, a playground and a large field for running around or soccer.
This is a family run place and you feel at home here.

When I booked this place I wasn't sure how good it will be, when we got there, I was so happy that I did book it and not another place! The host were beyond good, so humble and friendly, they have this perfect location by the see, the way there is like from a movie and the rooms and everything around it can't be better, on top of that we found there one of the best wineries in Spain, the owners of this gorgeous place make their own wine where you can scheduled a visit in the winery (on site) and maybe get to taste it too.
Highly recommended place to stay for a day or more!
