One of the nicest hotels I stayed at in Spain. Location was perfect. Room with large terrace was an incredible value. Very upscale yet prices were moderate. Staff couldn’t have been nicer and the rooftop pool and bar were a huge bonus. Views from up there were epic.

I came to this hotel with high expectations and excitement as the Negresco Princess advertised itself well. The check in process was a bit confusing since the staff asked me to put in all of my information into their iPads, something that I didn’t feel necessary as I already put in my info while booking my stay. I communicated to the staff my first night about an issue I was experiencing with my accommodations, inviting the staff to help problem solve with me. Instead, I was received with what felt like a brick wall of insincerity and lack of willingness to help. I was told I’d need to spend another €1000 to solve my accommodation issue, and staff ignored their advertising for their rooms. I felt that the staff was rude and unwelcoming, which led me to feel very uncomfortable throughout the entirety of my stay. I’m very troubled about my experience because I dreaded returning to the hotel because that meant interacting with staff and walking past reminders of how I was treated. Additionally, my room was unclean. When I asked staff for help with a mess outside my door, the cleaning person didn’t clean thoroughly or disinfect causing the hallway to stink for the entirety of my stay. Additionally, their bathroom products were unsanitary and unhygienic…body wash should not smell rancid like sulfur. I am very disappointed with how my stay went, and regret staying in this hotel. I felt that my money was not well spent— I strongly encourage travelers to consider alternate lodging.

The front desk staff were amazing. Recommended a restaurant and Flamenco show. Very friendly and helpful
The rooftop staff not very friendly and the restaurant on main floor was closed

Pro's and Con's - Mixed feelings.

Mixed feelings about this hotel. I didn’t book the hotel so I am not 100% sure which room we booked, but we booked as a group and all paid the same price. some of us got put in a standard internal room, others in a city view room. The internal room we has was 114 - AVOID!!!! I was awoken every day to smashing and crashing as they set up for breakfast. Considering we were woken up at the crack of dawn, we tried to have a sleep in the afternoon before we went out - yeah, that’s not possible as they then have a piano down there blasting. so its either crashing plates or loud piano.
Apart from that the hotel was amazing.
Fantastic location with fantastic bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Ten euro for a taxi to the beach, just flag one down outside.
the roof top pool was a dream, heated. even though it was busy we still enjoyed every minute up there.
and Steve the bartender was AMAZING!! the bottomless brunch is HIGHLY recommended; the food was fab. the platter would be enough we didn’t need a main after that. cocktails on tap, no complaints!!
Comfy beds & Good aircon, strong water pressure.
I wouldnt stay again in an internal room but i would 100% be back for the bar and the pool.

FANTASTIC HOTEL

We absolutely loved this hotel. The room was fantastic thanks to the lovely member of staff tha greeted us when we checked in. Everything we needed was available, including the best shower I have ever experienced. The free minibar was a lovely touch too. Everywhere in the hotel and room was spotless and there was a lovely atmosphere flowing throughout. Staff were friendly and very helpful and the rooftop bar is a beautiful area to sit and have a cold drink at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend this gem of a hotel and when we next return to Barcelona we will not hesitate to book in here again.
