Hotel Rec was a great place to stay for central access to much of Barcelona, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They even provided a free bottle of Cava for our stay.

The dining area had a pleasant atmosphere, and the food was good. However, it would be even better if there were a wider variety of dishes. Also, it would be appreciated if a few extra bars of soap could be provided in the hotel room.

Love this place!!! Good location, nice breakfast in the morning. The lounge and small pool area upstairs on the roof top is excellent place to relax. It is where I will stay next time I am in Barcelona. Neat feature is the Bluetooth speakers in the ceiling of the room. It’s a great hotel to see the sites and then have a place to relax before you go back out for the evening.

Friendly staff and good check in experience. Rooms are noisy due to dogs barking and a homeless invasion on the area the hotel is situated within, I would avoid if you value a good nights sleep!

Lovely hotel great staff. Room is a dated. Great amenities - free cocktail making class and beer tasting.
