Go without hesitation

I highly recommend this hotel. It is located 150m.d e weather station and 200m.from an underground parking lot
The hotel is niquel and the person very friendly. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Breakfast provided by a.bakery located 10 meters away is very good
Great value for money. We will return without hesitation if we have to return to Barcelona

New but expensive and lacking in various areas

People rave about this hotel because it's new. That is true—it's brand new and that is a wonderful thing, but even though I appreciate this hotel does not have many stars (one, I think): it's noisy. You can't hear the neighbors talk, but you can definitely hear them moving chairs, etc.
There is no kettle and the AC is absolutely rubbish. When I arrived, the room temperature was 26 degrees; I switched the AC on and nothing happened. I went downstairs and they told me it takes 10–15 minutes to work. It eventually started blowing out the most minute level of cold air, which you could hardly feel even though the fan was on high. Having left it on overnight, it still hadn't reached the target temperature (19) in the morning. Pillows are horrible (this may be personal taste), and there are only sheets on the bed—no duvet or blanket. There is no fridge, the room was advertised with a balcony but there wasn't one, and while they don't do breakfast either, that's not a real issue as there are plenty of places around.
So, it's very basic, but the price definitely isn't. In my opinion, the standard and price don't match up.
