Good hotel with good service and beautiful views of Barcelona with small pool and sun terrace on the roof
Very good hotel, we liked it well there and stayed there for 5 days. Nice roof terrace with a very small pool - at 90 cm. Mostly to get the nice view from the city but not for swimming (max 3 swimming rooftops you can take). Nice service from most. Paid 25 Euro extra to upgrade to a better room but it was wasted - the sun terrace did not sun it and was on the 3rd floor. The money we could save ourselves for and the room was not bigger than the others. Good beds but slightly high long hard pillows. Still gives a 4’s since most of it was top. Clean nice rooms, with good standard.

Great location, incredible roof top pool!
We absolutely loved our stay here. The customer service was top notch, the rooftop pool is like a sanctuary nestled in a perfect location near many wonderful cafes and the Gaudi buildings. I was traveling with my two young adult children and we absolutely loved it. Highly recommend!

Great and convenient oasis in Barcelona.
Excellent staff, great service, pleasant and comfortable rooms. We arrived at 7:30 am after a long flight from the USA. The staff (Francesca, especially) greeted us and, despite a normal 3:00 pm checkin time, were able to put us into our room by 9:00 am. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Clean modern hotel with good facilities. Perfect for our 3 night family stay. Rooftop pool and views were a nice bonus after a long day of sightseeing. Close to La Rambla and public transport. Staff were excellent and very helpful. The local area isn’t the nicest but didn’t affect our stay.

Lovely hotel, which just needs a few tweaks
Had a four night stay here with my seven year-old daughter and niece. We had a family room at the front of the hotel on floor two. First impressions were quite positive, staff were polite and courteous and allowed us to store our cases in the luggage storage on the floor below, which meant we could go and explore the city before we got into our room (we arrived early!)
Only two small lifts which was slightly inconvenient, but you never really had to wait long for them to arrive.
Our room was perfectly adequate in size, first impression was that the room was clean but we did find that the flooring was incredibly dusty and found everything we put on the floor had quite a thick layer of dust on it when moved. The room lacked basic amenities such as a kettle or coffee making facility and small fridge. A fridge would’ve been ideal for us as often we like to just take snacks to the room in the evening after a long day. The bathroom lacked privacy. The sink was completely exposed to whoever was in the bedroom and the only thing separating the room from the toilet and bath was a type of shower screen meaning that you could see the individual inside - not particularly pleasant when you need to go to the toilet! Also just a couple of paper cups were supplied. Other than that, the room was modern and the beds were comfortable. We were also given pool towels to use.
We did not have breakfast so are unable to comment on this. The reception area are vending machines and nice comfortable area to sit in.
The rooftop pool was a lovely added bonus, but be aware that it is not as large as it appears on photographs. In fact, it is very small. The views are absolutely gorgeous and the area is completely uncluttered and clean. It was lovely to go to for a late afternoon dip to cool down. The bar which was a couple of steps down from the pool was attended by a polite barman and the prices were completely reasonable. In fact, it was cheaper than a lot of places along Las Ramblas. One afternoon when I went up there with my daughter there was quite a large stag party of Welsh guys - can’t complain as they were very polite and not causing any issues but I thought it was far too many people to allow to stay in one group as they took up the entire pool. Maybe they should rethink their group booking policy especially as this is a hotel which accepts children as well.
The area which the hotel is situated is incredibly central and only a 10 minute walk from Las Ramblas or a 15 minute walk to the harbour. The area is a little bit seedy and I would be very conscious of that, especially if you are travelling on your own. We were never back at the hotel much later than 10 o’clock after dinner and fortunately with it being summer it was still light. I did notice there was an Indian restaurant next door to the hotel and the owners didn’t seem to mind kicking rubbish across the street. This is something else that you need to be aware of the place is quite grimy and smelly. The hotel is aI did notice there was an Indian restaurant next door to the hotel and the owners didn’t seem to mind kicking rubbish across the street. Good security on the door with needing your key card to open it and also to access the lift.
Would I stay here again? Yeah, probably would! But it would be for the location being central and the fact I felt quite safe inside the hotel.
