A stay superrr

The location is ideal, close to all sites, beautiful place to disconnect and enjoy the surroundings, especially the lake, magnificent.
Very comfortable and very well soundproofed rooms.
Breakfast very varied and of great quality, you can take it inside or on terrace overlooking the pool....great.
Best hotel in the province, without a doubt.
Pro team and listening to everything.

Locked out of hotel and not given a refund

I would like to preface this by saying all staff I dealt with were friendly and professional. However, my hotel card was mistakenly only activated for one night of my two night stay, which I discovered on returning to the hotel in the evening of the second night. The hotel had closed at this point with no staff on site. There was an emergency number on the door but that rang out. I later discovered that is the owner's number who was on holidays and no substitute was put in place. So I was locked out of the hotel. I paid the full price in advance for two nights of bed and breakfast but could only avail of one night of accommodation. As I reserved through Booking.com, both the hotel and Booking.com seem to think that the responsibility for a refund lies with each other. I have never been locked out of a hotel or heard of it happening to anyone else either. To not be given a refund (we're not talking about a huge sum of money) when you paid for something you didn't receive seems particularly mean.

scammed out of money

there were 4 of us travelling by bicycle, we were told there would be a secure area to store our bikes, there was an area but I would say it was far from being secure so we had to chain our bicycles together.
there was something wrong with all of our rooms, 1 room was full of bugs which the receptionist said they came in from the trees outside but the windows were shut when we arrived so they must have been there when the room was made ready.
another room had no light in the toilet/bathroom and we were told it would get sorted the next day.
The bar closed at 9pm and it was quite a walk in the dark to another bar, the breakfast was badly organized and hygiene left a lot to be desired.
When we went to check out they said we hadn't paid for all the rooms and had to pay there and then, we paid what they asked for on my debit card but 2 days later there was a charge on my credit card for all the rooms, I contacted them and they denied this, I sent them evidence and they agreed there had been a mistake and would refund my overpayment, they have not refunded my money and now wont even reply to my emails.

The Bañolas "pincho" train, the boat trip on the lake

Hotel with swimming pool, very nice, located at the west end of Bañolas, attentive staff, clean and quiet, very close to Lake Bañolas you can make the typical visit to the lake by boat, also the "pincho" train tour with the tour of the city

Business stay in Banyoles

The hotel is everything you need, the food is great, the staff helpful and friendly and the location is near the center.
Only flaw that I saw is that some of the staff don't speak english. But even so, all the request that we (triathletes) had, were met.
Beds are cosy and the bathrooms big and very clean.
