Great hotel. Very good experience. Located in a slightly quieter area of town within reach of everything.
This Hotel is located just outside of the town.
It's within walking distance of the train station and the bus station. This hotel offers a quieter experience than those within the city.
The location is on the edge of a retail/industrial area. Don't be dismayed by this, it's very quiet, both during the week and at weekends.
The rooms are a decent size, with ample storage bfor your belongings. There is a fridge, a programmable electronic safe, plus a large flat-screen TV.. Best thing is, there are many plug sockets located in many locations around the room.
Heating and cooling? Yes. This is controlled by a more basic physical temperature dial, and fan speed selections. (Not one of these modern complicated computerized things that go wrong).
The bathroom also consists of an extremely spacious shower area, including overhead rainfall showerhead & traditional unit.
The rooms are cleaned daily, and to a high standard.
Breakfast is available for a small fee.
As for the staff, they are always professional, helpful, respectful and friendly.
Nearby there are a few supermarkets. Mercadona on the next street below, you'll pass this on the way to the hotel. Supermercado Ahorras the other direction, slightly lower priced. And the usual Lidl and Aldi, also nearby.
Walking up the hill towards the motorway, you'll come to a small shopping centre, including Carrefour. And a variety of fast food outlets, including McD's. However, there is a huge variety of restaurants located nearby or within the city, catering for all tastes.
The hotel is also within walking distance of the main Town center, including the old town with the City Walls and Cathedral. There are many areas to explore, including the trails by the river.
So, for a stop-over, a short break, travelling by car, public transport, or just exploring on foot; this is a perfect hotel to stay at.

Not recommended
I had to stay for work reasons, my departure was at 7:45 and I forgot a gold chain valued at 1000€ in bed, yet it had a more sentimental value than monetary, two hours later I realize the forgetfulness and called the hotel and the manager tells me that they have not found anything and that their staff is very trusted , they lost my chain without offering any solution, I do not recommend the stay anymore if they forget something of value.

Ask only infusion that do not serve anything else
Don’t ask for anything to drink other than infusion from twelve and three minutes that serve nothing, very badly, it is insisted that it is twelve and three and tells us that no, that it does not matter that it will not serve anything other than coffee and infusion....

Very expensive and little convenience
Too expensive for one night. You charge 60€/night for a hotel with reduced space per room and no extra besides bath towels and bed sheets.
Breakfast not included at 7€/person that gives you the right to be in line for 15 minutes because you only have a coffee machine. The diversity for breakfast is bread croissants from supermarket donuts, fiambre, pineapple and yogurt.
The location is far from the sites to see in Avila so this price is never justified. 35€ would be fair for this type of room and location in Spain.

Economical option on the outskirts
It is a hotel just outside Avila, there is nothing nearby and it is far from the center but it is very good choice for a night on the way somewhere. Very good qualities, large and comfortable bed, large shower. We took the option with breakfast and it is quite complete for 7 euros per person, the only thing is that the weekends do not start until 8.
