The most authentic accommodation on the Camino

The hosts all kindness, tell you through WhatsApp of the Inn access from the Camino (km42,778). The stone rooms, super comfortable beds. For dinner the salad and cheeseboard and Iberian, a delight. To repeat

Great Stop on the Camino

Very clean and comfortable. We had thought it was in Casteneda and worried that we had passed it. But found the sign indicating it to be a short walk off the Camino through a pretty forest. Our host was very nice and accommodating. The dinner was generous - huge portions and great service! They did our laundry, fed us well and we slept great. And on the Camino - that's everything!

It's NOT in Arzua!

I planned a walking trip in the assumption that this pension was in Arzua, an important stop on the Camino de Santiago. We arrived in Arzua from the north, having walked the Camino del Norte... and we find we must go backward on the trail to reach this place of rest! Perhaps it's my fault for not scrutinizing the maps beforehand, but this location is a good SIX kilometers EAST of Arzua, dead on the highway. We were beat; we had to take a taxi back and forth. We were not happy pilgrims.
The place is well-kept and friendly, but our room faced the noisy road and we had to keep the windows closed... thus shutting out any fresh air.

Great stay

We stayed for one night, this is a lovely location. The rooms have beautiful stone walls exposed but everything is refinished and modern, clean and in good order. Had an excellent sleep, and very nice breakfast the next morning.
Location is just a short walk off the main Camino route and very easy to find.
Highly recommended.

Beautiful stopover on the Camino

Lovely stopover on the Camino with very comfortable rooms. Hosts have limited English but will go out of their way to help. Beautiful deli at the front of the hotel and they share great local items. Remember to ask for different wi-fi codes for different rooms as the stone walls can block the signal.
