No complaints: everything was perfect

A very pleasant stay. Restaurant, cafeteria, and breakfasts are perfect. Excellent staff. Also, the musical evening was a surprise: a great selection of songs very well performed. Overall, then, looking forward to returning in the future.

Long wait

Very bad service... long wait between courses... instead of hiring more people... fewer people and better service

Beautiful castle, recently renovated rooms

Beautiful castle with phenomenal views. There is a village attached to the castle that is nice to walk through because it is built in the same stone as the castle. The rooms are renovated, spacious and fully equipped.
We didn't love the restaurant and there was a waiter who didn't smell fresh and didn't look very fresh either, but did meet us professionally. Talk to the manager maybe? There is little to do in Alcañiz and surroundings except the castle

Stylish refuge away from mass tourism

The Parador of Alcaniz towers over the town of the same name and offers a 360-degree panoramic view. The rooms are very spacious and convey a feel-good atmosphere. An ideal place for history buffs and romantics. The restaurant is also highly recommended, offering regional specialties and a very good selection of wines. The center of Alcaniz is within walking distance. I felt very comfortable and will gladly come back.

Five stars in every way

The facilities are magnificent, in a wonderful location. Our room was very spacious and the cleanliness was perfect. The service received at the front desk, in the cafeteria, at breakfast, and in the restaurant was also fantastic. A single opportunity for improvement: our bathroom had a bathtub instead of a shower, which we find more comfortable. I suppose the problem is that doing any construction work in a building with these characteristics is very complicated, but do not stop trying.

Gracias por el comentario, ya tenemos 8 habitaciones con ducha, seguimos cambiandolas poco a poco porque, como bien apunta, en estos edificios historicos no es facil...no obstante, gracias por el comentario, nos alegra saber que ha estado a gusto con nosotros. Un cordial saludo
