Moon Spa Aguadulce Restaurant
The restaurant at the Moon Spa hotel in Aguadulce is without a doubt the star room of the hotel. The treatment from the waiters was excellent, perfect service. Professionals like them elevate the sector. 10/10.

Pretty cool hotel, well-maintained, near Aguadulce beach.
My short 2-day stay in Aguadulce was great at the Moon. First time I stayed there. Cool decor, quite appropriate for the location—across from the seaport—and not many complaints to make about this hotel.
Great cleanliness (carried out by some wonderful, friendly, and professional women; they truly deserve a raise). I really liked the bathroom, with the shower; since I am tall (1.99m), the showerhead was even higher, with a mist option, the small bottles of gel, body lotion, shampoo... these things show attention to detail. I loved the room's climate control, nice and cool, with the option for the ceiling fan, great, in addition to being able to adjust lights (dim—headboard, reading light, etc.); it made me feel very comfortable. Perhaps I would like the pillow a bit higher or for them to provide several; they felt too low when I lay down. I appreciate the silence in the hallway, that there was no noise during rest time.
The pool was modest but it was nice. It would be desirable for it to be cool water, because in July in Aguadulce, it was quite hot... it is not enjoyed as much. But it is a space to relax, lie down for a while, with background music... It gets the job done.
Special mention to the cleaning staff, to the receptionist María (who was very nice and was working the night shift and we chatted for a while, and she is a great professional).
If I have to point out a negative point, it was at my check-in where they reminded me more than two or three times that I had chosen a standard, normal room, without views... I understand perfectly that they try for an 'upgrade', the sale... Normal for the business. I think it is better if they ask me directly if I want to opt for a superior room rather than insisting that I have booked one of the "small" rooms, "this one has no view," "it doesn't have..." I know perfectly well what I booked. So much insistence exasperates me a little.
But that was the least of it, as I say. I booked the SPA circuit, quite good, they gave us time calmly both to enter and leave, it is much appreciated. And regarding breakfast, I have read reviews that honestly I don't know what they are referring to, because I thought it was very good too. With many types of options (fruits, cereals, coffee, crepes, little sandwiches, a plant-based option?, everything quite tasty...). The presentation at the buffet was very good and the waiters were very kind to each of us who had breakfast there.
I know there was a barbecue at night but I cannot say because I did not have dinner at the hotel. The restaurant menu did seem expensive to me. The minibar prices also seemed very expensive to me. Well, they are options. There is a variety of bars and restaurants on the other side of the hotel where you can find places for all tastes.
I would return. I traveled alone and I appreciate the treatment provided by the hotel staff. It is nice, you can rest, and you have access to discover the Aguadulce beach area. Try to limit the sales pitch more when checking in.

General disorganization
My opinion is about the restaurant.
Very disorganized pace, even more than a half-hour difference in serving between some diners and others, and that was with the restaurant empty, at least inside.
Quite mediocre food in some cases. They insisted on the barbecue for us. The only one who ordered it made the right choice, as the cooking turned out to be very mediocre. The grilled tuna and the cod were left half-eaten on the plates.

Summer vacation
Hello, we have been at this hotel for a week. I can say that the hotel is great, super clean. But I do have to point out that the services they provide are excellent. But if this is the case, it is because of the staff they have. And I would like to highlight the cafeteria and restaurant staff. The girls are wonderful, very professional, friendly, and helpful. I give the staff and the hotel services, such as the spa, a 10. We will return

Breakfast was really good, wide variety, and good coffee. Spa services could be improved - no English made it very hard to communicate and reserve times. Spa instructions said to ask the reception, and reception said to ask the spa. And then nobody speaker English there. The massagers felt like they don't actually have a degree in massages, paying 80 euros for the spa and the service that was 7/10 is abit too much. Spa is nice 9/10.
