Rustic, comfortable accommodation
We spent one night in this ancient casa in an ancient hilltop village of Ademuz. Driving the narrow streets could be a challenge. We found the house easily, called the owner, and he came soon to let us in. We parked a short distance from the house on the small plaza in front of the post office. There is also another parking down the hill. The hosts were welcoming and friendly and they spoke English. Our double room was on the third floor. It was smaller and nicely decorated. We had a balcony with a beautiful view over the valley. Casa Garrido is traditionaly furnished with rustic charm, but it has all the modern comforts for pleasant stay. Breakfast was tasteful.

The stay fantastic, and the deal with the owners very good and very family
A spectacular stay, the beautiful house, everything very clean ,the owners Sebastian and Gisella a charm ,a deal of 10 made us feel like home very familiar, we had breakfast included and is very complete and always attentive in case we lacked something else.A perfect place to enjoy nature and do activities, I would repeat again.

Totally disappointing and high-handed treatment by the owners, for the category of the establishment.
I understand the good reviews that the cottage has, because it is a place that has potential, charm and is in a pleasant environment, despite poor access and location. But the experience with the owners left much to be desired.
I admit that some of your comments may have merit, but the manner of treatment was unpleasant and even insulting at various times. This behavior hinders the guest experience and generates a sense of insecurity and disrespect. Accordingly, it would not recommend staying there until improvements were implemented in customer service and the education of landlords, especially marital women, to ensure dignified and professional treatment at all times. If you are looking for a place to rest calmly and with the team, it is advisable to consider other options where cordiality and respect are priorities.
As members of a professional music group with 35 years of experience behind us in accommodation, we were surprised and disappointed at the treatment received. Nothing like this has ever happened to us, despite having stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, on the same terms as we did in this house.
Our agency reserved two rooms, initially ordered one for the musicians’ driver and one expressly for the musicians’ shower and toilet after the trip. In very bad ways, the owner denied the room for the shower to the first of the musicians who went and sent it “to fuck” (literal) claiming that they did not inform her, even though from our office they always do and we had knowledge of it. The deal was nothing short of despicable and xenophobic, expecting our partner that this was not a campsite for hippies.
After this, seeing that this room was triple and was already charged as such, we decided to stay three musicians in it. Upon arrival, one of the owners (the husband) checked in one of the people and despite seeing us, he did not ask us to check in, even told us that one was enough. However, the next day, the owner treated us in a denigrating and threatening manner in the presence of other guests while we were having breakfast, accusing us of not having registered and going so far as to say with high-handedness that she would take action and retaliation before the law.
Most regrettably, this vexatious and disrespectful treatment occurred at an inappropriate time and place, making us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed in front of other customers, constantly raising our voices and even derogatoryly calling one of our components “chatty”, negating them when he asked them to respect it.
Despite this, we kept our composure, respect and calm at all times, without raising our voices or facing each other. Our experience at Casa Rural Garrido was marred by the high-handedness and lack of professionalism and respect of the owners, which has left us with a very negative impression of the place.
We have no doubt that after submitting our complaint by way of review, the owner, having the last word, will respond in her favor diverting attention with excuses and possibly burlesquely as she has done in most bad reviews that her business has, but nothing further from reality. Draw your own conclusions.

Overnight in the Spanish mountains
We stayed at Casa Rural Garrida for one night as part of our Honeymoon. From the moment we arrived until the time we left we were made to feel like old friends. Gisela welcomed us and told us some of the history of the house, gave us a tour of some of the original parts of the house and recommended a walk along the river which we did and really enjoyed.
We had dinner in the guesthouse and as Paul doesn't eat meat we were given swordfish which was amazing.
The meal was a feast with cheese, nuts, dates and broadbeans to start, followed by the main course and a choice of two desserts. We finished off the night by sitting on the balcony looking at the stars.
We would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit a typical Spanish village in the mountains.

Beautiful house in the heart of Ademuz. Comfortable room and spectacular breakfast. The best, the hospitality and kindness of Sebastian and his wife who have deviated to make our stay pleasant informing us of everything and making us feel at home. To repeat
