Terrible experience. Who gave 4 stars in the reviews?

The BOAT is in the perfect location, but extremely noisy during the whole night and very dirty outside of the room. Also the towels were completely soaked from washing and we got infected from the pillows, filling up with pimples all around our face and head. Upon our arrival, it was like we had fallen from another planet. They didn't know we had made a reservation and we were the only guests in the so-called hotel, which was simply a cabin on a ship. We had no time to read the reviews when we booked the "hotel" and we trusted the 4 stars hotel review.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience, it is a boat moored on the Nile with cabins used as rooms.....the concept could even be nice...but old age and filth reign supreme....noises from air conditioners and water pumps always present...difficult to rest.
Obvious signs of decay everywhere... Cockroaches in the sheets....in the morning we found ourselves bitten by insects...bathroom, shower and toilet dirty, old and broken....the staff may be kind...but there are too many things that are wrong. I don't dare think about the kitchens

Beautiful experience.

We had a fabulous holiday. We had a great time. The welcome was warm and the incredibly friendly staff is available at all times.
We felt right at home.
The hotel is downtown. The room is comfortable with a nice view of the Nile.
We can't wait to get back.

We had a great experience at this hotel in Cairo. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are very original, spotless, and quite spacious. Since the hotel is actually on a boat on the Nile, the view is just amazing — especially if you have a room overlooking the river, where you can watch all the life happening on the water.
The restaurant is excellent too, with delicious dishes at very reasonable prices, and the same kind and attentive staff take care of you there as well.
The only small downside is that the area can be a bit lively at night — you can hear some of the music and nightlife if you’re sensitive to noise. Otherwise, it’s a truly unique and enjoyable place to stay.
