We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Excellent food, very friendly staff, a beautiful sea full of marine life, and great accommodation. The hotel is small, so everything is close by, which is a huge plus. The sandy beach is located right next to the pier, offering plenty of sun loungers and a gradual entry into the sea. Perfect for snorkeling.

Our 4th stay at Jaz Makadina was, honestly, the best one so far!
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone — from reception to the bars — was attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. A special mention to the fantastic bartenders, always serving drinks with a smile and great energy — I’ve added pictures of them because they truly deserve recognition!
The waiters around the beach and especially on the outside terrace were absolutely wonderful. Thank you for making yet another stay unforgettable.
A massive shout out also goes to Head Chef Nageh, who constantly brought smiles to our faces with his charm and wit. The food was brilliant every single day, with an excellent variety and great care taken for my partner, who is coeliac.
Another highlight was the entertainment team, who truly stepped up and brought the hotel to life. The variety of shows, activities, and interactions was amazing. It was so refreshing to stay at a hotel where the fun continues into the evening instead of everything shutting down at 10pm u— this will definitely attract younger guests back again and again!
The hotel itself is beautifully maintained: clean, tidy, and surrounded by lovely gardens, with a gorgeous clean beach perfect for snorkelling and scuba diving.
Myself and James are so grateful for these wonderful 10 days, and we are already looking forward to returning in September!

It was an excellent stay as always (it was our second time coming here). Everything was superlative. Clean beach, impeccable service, friendly staff, cleanliness, varied food. Affordable prices and, as I said, impeccable service make Makadina an attractive location, especially in spring and autumn.

wonderful holiday
A truly wonderful holiday at the JAZ Makadina Hotel.
We were really happy with our stay here with friends and have decided that we’ll definitely be coming back.
The hotel is quiet and on the smaller side.
It’s in a great location and has a lovely garden.
It’s close to the sea.
The marine life is beautiful; we went snorkelling, as did almost everyone else.
The staff were friendly and pleasant.
There were some nice entertainment programmes for adults.
The food and drink were excellent.
We can’t fault a thing.
Perhaps just the evening entertainment was a bit lacking.
But that didn’t bother us.
Overall, 10* out of 10*.

A lovely holiday
We visited Egypt for the first time and honestly I was leaving with concerns about the quality of service. Jaz Makadina surprised us very pleasantly, as the services provided were of a very high standard and all the staff were smiling and helpful. I can only praise the resort and if possible, we would like to return in the future.
