A successful choice of hotel, surprisingly good!

Newly refurbished, nice room. Clean and welcoming, lovely Jensen beds with nice bedding, well-functioning bathroom with rain shower. Small veranda with seating, facing the backyard for our part, quiet and quiet despite the fact that the hotel is located in the city center.
Coffee machine with free coffee and drinking water in the hallway outside.

Nice little hotel near beach

Hotel got bad reviews but is now refurbished, clean and tidy, perfectly located behind cozy shopping streets and nice terraces. Near old bunkers on the beach, nice pier and beach where you can go by car. Recommended

Nice balcony, which I couldn't use because smoking was apparently allowed and the cigarette smoke spread to my balcony and into the room when my neighbor smoked on his balcony! Strange that, in 2025, smoking is still allowed in the hotel.

Holiday apartment centrally located in Løkken.

Holiday apartment / family room located in the building that houses Løkkens oldest guest house.
Large newly painted room on two floors with newly renovated bathroom. In the living room was sofa bed, fridge, coffee machine, cups, cutlery and plates, TV and armchair as well as access to the common balcony overlooking the pedestrian street. (The balcony, which was shared was not so welcoming, so we did not stay there.) There was water in the bottom of one of the cups, so we did not use them as we doubted they were clean.
On the 1st floor there was a TV, a good double bed and an extra box mattress with upper bed. There was also a beautiful view of the water tower and the dunes. The room was ok for our individual stay but it was very warm and there is a lot of noise in the building.
Although parking included to the room were all seats occupied when we arrived (week 29). The entrance to the building smelled a lot of urine- ⁇ because the toilets in the entrance are shared with the pub next door? The building is only partially renovated and we stayed in the newly renovated part. Most of the building looks very worn.
The key to the room must be picked up at a nearby hotel – as the hotel does not have its own reception/ is not staffed.
Along with the keys there was a voucher with the possibility of getting a reduced Award for brunch at Løkken Badehotel. So we used it and had a nice brunch.

Closing down?

1 night stay ( of course) First; location is excellent! The room had a balcony, which is always on the positive side. The linen was clean and the price was reasonable all things considered. That's it. All the rest was disgusting. Nothing has been upgraded since building year, approx 50 years ago. I was informed the the hotel was up for sale, along with probably 10-20 % of the estates in Løkken. After the youth disappeared 3-4 years ago the community lost a vital income source and most (tourist) businesses are in red. Desperately trying to compensate, as an example, all restaurants in the area are charging DKK 30 for a jar of tap water, making it all worse.. All This also explains the lack of maintainance of the hotel. Check-out was without manned reception desk and that's understandable. No values to be concerned about anyway. Having spend many holidays in Løkken previous years, this was my final goodbye to Løkken.
