Cozy and good value for money

This is now the 3rd time I've stayed here, and definitely not the last. Super sweet host couple and dog as well as cozy surroundings that make you feel at home. It is possible to purchase breakfast and there are all facilities in the shared kitchen and living room. Will definitely come again when I'm in these parts

Affordable accommodation in mansion

I booked a room with very short notice that evening, which was ok for the host - only I arrived before bedtime.
As the name and pictures suggest, it is an old mansion that can be traced back to the Reformation, and subsequently expanded. The current owners renovated the property in 2008-9 and decorated a third of the 500 m2 main building as a six-room Bed & Breakfast, one of which seems to be a separate apartment.
The room I got the key to - The Red Room - was very nice and cosy decorated in red colors, and since it was in the Christmas days, there was really a lot of Christmas ornaments and books laid out with this theme and in the right colors.
The head pillow was an ergonomic head pillow, but was a bit hard and not exactly my taste.
There shared bathroom was fine, but unfortunately there was a rather pervasive smell of urine. I was the only tenant at this time, so maybe a previous guest had not been quite careful enough during his toilet visit. And apparently the owners hadn't made sure to get the floor washed afterwards. It also took a long time before hot water came into the shower, but I lived with it.
Breakfast (low self) is available for NOK 75. This was not available this day. (No matter what, you can consider eating breakfast at Hjallerup Bakery & Café for about the same price instead.)
In the first hall of the main building there is a large living room with TV, kitchenette and games for free use.
Very reasonable price, but the smell of the bathroom unfortunately draws some down.

Quiet and cozy farm stay

Very pleasant accomodation in Dronninglund. Cozy rooms, very nice bathroom, nice lounge and kitchenette with a homely atmosphere. Lots of green plants in the windowsills!
Very quiet, beautiful surrounding, with horses, old trees and open fields.
Friendly host, free parking in the yard just outside the entrance.

If you dont mind sharing a bathroom and can look after yourself OK when youre away, then thus beautiful place is for you. A genuinely good value place to stay, clean, comfortable, quiet.
