Amazing.. just amazing!

I stayed at Radisson Collection Royal Hotel Copenhagen—and honestly, it’s one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever been to in my life.
The moment I entered, I was blown away. The place is HUGE—like genuinely impressive. It really took my breath away. The concierge welcomed us warmly, very friendly, talkative, and helpful. They also assisted us with the luggage, which was great.
The lobby is massive, with many seating and working areas, beautiful décor, and great restaurant. Overall, the atmosphere is stunning. At one point, I didn’t know how to get to the gym, and a staff member actually walked me there, which I really appreciated.
The gym itself is incredible—very large and fully equipped, more like a proper fitness center than a hotel gym. It even has a shop with clothes, food, protein products, fresh towels, bathrooms, and a sauna. The whole space has a great vibe—I genuinely loved it.
We booked a family suite, and wow… just wow. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a walk-in closet, a separate dressing area with a mirror, and a bathroom with both a bathtub and a rain shower. The bed was big and very comfortable, and the seating area was amazing. Honestly, I could have stayed in the hotel the entire time—that’s how much I enjoyed it. The hotel is very clean. Our room's floor was not well vacuumed and the issue was not resolved the same day. It's well located, next to the city center and many restaurants. There's also a supermarket just at the corner.
However, there was one major issue. We constantly lacked basic amenities in the room—soap, tea, cups, and other essentials. We had to keep calling housekeeping multiple times a day (sometimes 2–3 times), which became frustrating. And even then, they would often bring incomplete items. At this level, you shouldn’t have to keep asking for basic things—it should already be provided.
The price is definitely high, but overall, the experience was worth it. Despite the inconvenience with amenities, I would still come back.

Mixed

Good location next to the main train station and Tivoli
Unfortunately the hotel is old and weary. The actual condition of the hotel does not match the photos. The corridors are very dark and had a smell. The room itself is also very dark and clearly the carpets and curtains 10 years old. The lifts are dusty and small.
Front desk staff is good. Unfortunately let down by rude waiting staff in the breakfast restaurant. They didn’t even bother to give us an a la carte menu for the hot dish on the first day. The breakfast spread is also terrible: oily tomatoes and eggs, watery fruit.

Great stay

We just had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were so welcoming and helpful - a special mention to Simon on the concierge desk who was so helpful and kind to through our stay, making us feel particularly welcome!
We are out of the hotel most of the time but we had one breakfast and one room service dinner, both which were great and the dinner particularly generous in portion (though really quite pricy!).
Everywhere was clean, modern and in great condition - the beds were very comfy and our shower was also excellent. The location of the hotel is also brilliant - we arrived by train from the airport and the station is just 5 mins away, as is the entrance to the Tivoli Gardens.
Our one comment for improvement would be the aircon - it was a particularly hot week in Copenhagen and the room aircon wasn’t great, though knowing the normal climate in the city, I’m not sure you’d usually need it!

Mixed experience

We had a mixed experience at the Radisson in Copenhagen.
On the positive side, the concierge team before our arrival was excellent. They were very kind and accommodating, and they accepted and stored shipments that were delivered from our previous hotel, which made our stay much easier. We really appreciated their help and professionalism.
Unfortunately, there were several issues during our stay. Despite requesting an extra bed in advance, it was not set up when we arrived very late at night, so we had to wait for staff to bring and prepare it after check-in. After a long day of traveling, this was disappointing.
The bathroom design was also problematic. Neither the shower nor the bathtub has a proper door or enclosure, so water splashes all over the bathroom floor when either is used. In addition, both showerheads were leaking. After reporting the issue, only one of them was repaired, while the other continued to leak for the rest of our stay.
Our biggest disappointment was breakfast on our last morning. Sunday breakfast was served until 11:00 a.m., and we arrived around 10:40 a.m. The staff took our order without mentioning that the kitchen and buffet were about to close. Then, without any warning, they began clearing away the food before we had a chance to take anything else we might have wanted. Considering that breakfast was quite expensive, we expected a simple heads-up so we could help ourselves before everything was removed. It felt abrupt and was not the level of service we expected.
Overall, while we appreciated the excellent assistance from the concierge team, the lack of preparation for our arrival, the bathroom design, the unresolved maintenance issue, and the disappointing breakfast experience made our stay fall short of expectations.

An enjoyable stay.

We came for a family wedding. I cannot fault anything about my stay. Thank you to all the staff who were welcoming and very helpful throughout my stay. Special thanks to Simon the concierge and all the restaurant/ bar staff. The room was cosy and comfortable.
