Lovely lady

Stayed here for a week in apartment one .we were upgraded from a double room ,the apartment was spacious with all the facilities comfortable beds with plenty of sheets ,a small kitchen if you wished to cook ,and your own bathroom with access to an outside balcony .The location is a short bus ride or about 20 min walk to split centre ,buses run regularly and the lady owner will advise were and what bus you need .Be aware your payment is in kuna on arrival .

Things in the drawers

We booked this hotel at the last minute as we just wanted a place to sleep for one night. We arrived a bit later than expected but the owner/manager was waiting outside for us which was reassuring. We were shown to a clean room with clean bedding. We were asked if we wanted blankets but as it was warm we said no. We didn't know this meant we would only have a sheet to lay on and pillows. We looked in the drawers and were astonished to find crumpled up sheets and leftover items belonging to previous guests. This was a first time experience for me and very off-putting. In my opinion the room should be charged cheaper as it really was basic.
I decided to text the owner (quite late) asking for top sheets but there was no reply. We ended up covering ourselves with our towels and dressing gown. Booking.com did not make it clear that we were sharing a bathroom with a couple of other rooms. The shared toilet/shower was clean but the shower had no curtain. It was a challenge to use it without flooding the bathroom!
The owner asked us to be quiet as the other guests were sleeping which was actually a blessing as despite the shared bathroom and things still in the drawers, we got quite a good night's rest. The owner was nowhere to be seen when we checked out.

Rude reception and cancelled my booking

I arrived at the apartments and was asked if I had a booking. I said yes and the lady did not speak good English so she called someone else.
The lady who came from other apartments in the same building asked how I wanted to pay. I thought I could use credit card. Shen told she wanted cash I said I could get the cash and she immediately said no - if I had no money I should go back to Australia. She then said she was full. But I had a booking - from booking.com.
The other lady apologised and tried to see if their apartments had a vacancy. It did not so I was left high and dry.
It took over an hour to find reasonably priced replacement accomodation.

Apartment Nina Split

Apartment was large and well furnished. Hot water totally inadequate - only enough for one warm shower in an apartment for 4. No shower curtain/screen so wet bathroom. No kitchen utensils - three dirty mugs and spoons provided by host when we complained. She said we had a kettle and hadn't paid to cook - in a self catering apartment!! We hadn't booked and at 9pm when we were tired she took advantage of that and charged us 4 times what we paid for any other accommodation we had whilst in Croatia.

There appears to be a mistake with your review. Our Apartments Nina are only for 2 persons. We do not have apartments for 4 persons. Maybe you stayed at different Apartments Nina in Split. Please verify that the address matches the location you stayed at.
We would greatly appreciate if you would look into this at your earliest convenience.

good room, parking space

It was great. The place is on the main boulevard of the city about 1.5 km from diocletian`s pallace. The room was quiet. The car was parked safely under the surveillance camera behind the fence. Kitchen was ok. Terrace outside for breakfast. Super-market across the street opens at 6 or 7 am.
