Beautiful Mediterranean Villa

This place is simply second to none. The entire floor of this beautiful, Italian-coast-style villa felt like something out of a movie set — much like the island of Lopud itself, which is truly cinematic. The villa is just 30 seconds from the beach and barely a minute from the restaurants and the island’s charming promenade. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation with kids.
Our hosts, Franka and Vanda, were amazing. Their impeccable English, deep insider knowledge of island life, and remarkable familiarity with nearby Dubrovnik made our stay a once-in-a-lifetime experience. They made us feel like family — and that feeling, in a country thousands of miles from the U.S., is absolutely priceless.
We will be back.

Stunning villa

The villa is breathtaking beautiful with incredible views. The rooms are very comfortable with everything you need. Cosy beds and great shower. The host goes out of his way to make the stay perfect, a very cosy feel.
There is very little shade in the afternoon around the pool and no parasol which I understand as the bathing area is small. I made my own with an umbrella! The pool is stunning. It wasn't an issue as it was really only us around the pool so I could find a shade until 4.
The walk up from the centre is not for the faint hearted. We are a relatively fit couple but by the time we got to the top it was a bit much after dinner but taxis available. Bring trainers if you intend to walk it . The centre is so pretty.
Beaches are iconic. Stoney and not easy to get in and out of the water.
We have had a memorable stay and have loved our time here. I'm a picky person and highly recommend a visit.

Lopud Gem

Can not fault this lovely place as it is a great location, spotlessly clean, spacious and run by very friendly people. The owner was not there to greet us but phoned to check on us and told us not to rush on check out as room was free. A real home from home!

Lovely holiday on the Island Lopud

A lovely, cosy place 30 meters from a nice beach. Clean, beautiful terace. The house/appartment has all you need .Owners were just amazing- very friendly, helpful. We definitely want to come back to this romantic place with beautiful beaches, lovely restaurants .

Villa Franka, the best family island!

Our first travel to Lopud, but definntley not our last. We brought our two small kids (1 & 5) and grandma for a week at Villa Franka. The apartment is 10 seconds away from the beach, and just a nice 30 minutes walk to Sunj beach, wich is amazing!
The host and her family took care of us, beyond what we expected. If we needed somthing they were there in a second. And they even invited us for dinner one evening at their own place.
The island is super kidsfriendly, and as a parent you can really relax knowing the kids are safe running around in this carfree village.
The apartment was cleaned every day. Comfortable beds and quiet area,with nice view up to the hills form the terrace.
We higly recommend Villa Franka to anyone, especially to families with smaller children! It safe, clean and just RELAXING!
