Convenient transportation, excellent location, high CP value backpacking hotel

Located in the bustling shopping district of East Town Road.
You can walk to popular sights such as Guizhou Church, Zhong Roochu, Modern Store, Starbucks Clock Road Old Town Store, and the Giant Pine Tree.
Transportation is very convenient, prices are also popular.
There is a lot of shared space, there are outdoor seats, the top floor and a small terrace that will appear in Korean.
On the first floor there is a fridge and a water machine, and there are some books for reading.
Public spaces and seating are also available on the second floor, with a microwave, washing machine and dryer available for an extra charge.
The disadvantage is that no elevator needs to carry your own luggage to climb the stairs, for people with more luggage it will be more difficult.
Check-in time is from 15:00 to 18:00, if you want to do it within this time, the time will be limited.
The shading of curtains is weak, the beds near the curtains are more likely to be affected by sunlight, and others are OK.
Overall a very good hotel, next time I have a chance to choose here!

Nice and friendly sympathetic guesthouse close to the same street

I came for a city trip and the guesthouse is fine.
The staff are friendly and the location is close to the same sex.
The 1st floor lounge is bright and spacious, and the view is on the 5th floor roof.
The disadvantage is that there is no elevator.
There are a lot of bars around, there is a little noise in the evening.

Experience Daegu and Korea at its Best

A wonderful experience right in the center of Daegu; great location allowing easy access to the city's key sites; a friendly atmosphere representing the best of Korean hospitality; cosy rooms offering comfortable accommodation. It was particularly meaningful for us as we returned to Daegu after many years.

Would come back!

Empathy was my first experience with a guesthouse and it did not disappoint. The welcoming faces each morning were great. The only downfall is that there are no elevators and rooms start on the third floor to the fifth. Staff will assist with getting your bags to your room. Empathy donates to North Korean refugees and this made staying here even more enjoyable knowing it was for a good cause. The owner is very humble and kind. The clean linen and towels were a pleasure and the property is kept clean.
