Overall good, some small comments

A nice hotel, with a lovely rooftop terrace and friendly, helpful staff. However, being eco should not mean cheap, and I found that the windows in our room didn't close properly, and our bed was on plastic crates which were very noisy! Also, a small thing but air con and soap in individual plastic is not eco. Overall, it's nice and would recommend for backpackers looking for a place to stay

I travel to Leticia every two to three months, I am not a tourist. I think this place takes it for granted that tourists will want to stay in an eco friendly place. But there is a big difference between eco friendly and good maintenance. There are cockroaches in the bathroom. In the middle of the night the water turned off and I couldn’t flush the toilet. Disgusting. In the morning when the water came back on and it still wouldn’t flush I opened the tank and there were two disgusting bottles of food there in the water. All the towels are worn, the shower is unpleasant. The windows don’t fully close so when the air conditioner is running the cool air will escape - not eco friendly. The handle on my door was so loose that I was locked out at one point. The staff seems bothered by everything you ask and the breakfast hours are unreasonable- the cook told me only until 8 am. I regret staying here and will not stay again. Giving two stars rather than one because the sheets were clean and fresh, the bed ample and comfortable, and the woman who cleans as well as cooks was trying her very best. I hope this place will make an effort to improve their property because the concept has potential.

We love the fact the hotel is sustainable. The staff is amazing! The lady preparing the food is the loveliest person ever! And it was the best breakfast we had in Colombia,

Money does not mean quality

I was shocked at how ugly the hotel is, it fools you with the entrance, the murals, the Echo, and when you enter everything is wasted, from the stairs to the walls. The problem is not the ugly, the problem is what they charge, and the lie they sell with photos on the internet. I had stayed at the real Amazon hotel, the night before, a normal hotel with pool, and when I got there, the atmosphere, the energy, the wasted was super disappointed. Here in the Real Amazon, a spacious, cute, energetic room, 100,000 pesos with pool and air conditioning. In this Eco Hotel, 195, imagine, with a few floors that sounded up to the air you breathe, with fan, nothing to see! Complaining, without any shame, I was returned only half, after waiting more than half an hour. Even the owner should be aware that what they sell is not what you buy. I learned that costly means NOTHING, quality. Please go elsewhere, don't settle. Go to the Royal Amazon and pay less and better!
