A superb boutique hotel, in the Manga district
This is a gem, in the quiet, safe, residential neighbourhood called Manga.
The 'deluxe suite' was superb: spacious & clean, with an excellent air-conditioning system.
The kitchen always has a pot of brewed coffee & chilled, potable water on tap.
Relax in the pool, or on the rooftop, in the shade, or in a lounge-area downstairs.
There's a toilet upstairs & downstairs (especially useful on the day of check-out).
It was a pleasure to meet Colombians, visiting from Bogotá, as well as European visitors like myself.
The staff are a huge asset to the hotel: they served up a good breakfast every morning & they were unfailingly helpful. (Cartagena was my first destination, on my first visit to Colombia, although I've made many visits to other parts of Latin America.) If you don't speak Spanish, it may be troublesome to communicate with the staff (& other guests).
There's a good-sized supermarket (Olímpica) within a five-minute walk. & it's quite feasible to walk to Getsemaní from here. (We walked back from Getsemaní at night, several times, without incident.)
I read a review, in which a guest complained about not having a key to enter & exit; I never had this problem, I was given a key to the exterior gate when I checked in; I believe this to be standard policy.
I would happily stay here again.

Great option with hot water and cold A/C.
This place is a gem. It’s small (8 rooms) and the staff is exceptional. The rooms are a good size, there is lots of hot water, and the air conditioning is strong. A welcome respite from the heat of Cartagena.
The plunge pool is very helpful to offset the heat and I liked the rooftop, with a mini-kitchen, independent bathroom, and tables and chairs. The free breakfast consists of coffee, juice, eggs and toast.
The location was great for me. Twenty to thirty minute walk to the San Felipe fort and the walled city. Close enough to walk but far enough to be quiet. And a short uber/taxi ride if you don’t want to walk. There is a gate that is manned 24/7.
The only downside is that the WiFi is a little spotty but a minor inconvenience.

Little Haven of Tranquility
We were placed in this guest house by another hotel who could no longer honour our booking.
We had no preconceived ideas about this place and could only go on the limited information available from the web
We needn’t have worried in the slightest.
Everything was as good as it gets for a short stay in a wonderful city.
Staff both day and night were exceptionally friendly and helpful and would do all they could to enhance your experience of your time there.
Bonus point for having the cutest and friendliest dog to meet and greet you everyday.
Rooms are on the very small side that cannot be denied but they are clean and well kept.
Breakfast was plentiful and varied and they easily adapted it to suit individual preferences.
Within easy walking distance to main areas of city on what was always to us a safe and comfortable route at anytime of the day or night.
Owner of b and b went out of her way quite literally to assist us and was unbelievably helpful and accommodating.

Perfect hotel for a couple of days
Perfect and attentive service (they let us check in and leave our bags early, while the room was being prepared).
The rooms are small but functional and clean.
The pool is a great +, it's even open late.
The decoration is cool.
Rich breakfast.
Good location, outside the noisy streets of the center, but it is also very easy to walk there.
What a shame we couldn't stay longer!

Very clean small hotel
A small, quiet hotel in La Manga, yet within walking distance of the city center. Room a little small but immaculately clean. Roof terrace to enjoy the evenings and possibly cook. small indoor swimming pool.
