Beautiful stay!

It was a beautiful experience! Everything about the resort was absolutely perfect... the property, the rooms, the restaurants, the common areas, and most importantly, the staff!
The shuttle service to and from the Park was so convenient!

Excellent stay at Explorers Lodge Disney Hong Kong

Unbelievable experience at Hong Kong Disney Explorers Lodge. My family and I recently stayed at the Explorers Lodge in Hong Kong Disney. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. There was a coffee maker in room and a water filter device which is useful for filling water bottles. Also they give you small gifts in the room like pens and explorer notepads. They also have kids activities all day and story time at night in English and Chinese. I found the rooms to have plenty of space and similar to the size of the rooms at a Premium Resort in Orlando, they are not small like Disney Paris. There is plenty of space. Also I got a connecting room for my kids. For booking this request I just notated the reservation number in the second reservation number and it was ready upon check in. We had the character buffet breakfast, which had western options as well as typical Chinese breakfast. There is an indoor playground on site which my kids loved. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. When my son ran too fast and fell down they immediately reacted and got us ice packs. The grounds of the facility are beautiful and you can even see the park fireworks from the back of the resort. The shuttle service is great to go between the park and the hotel. It is a quick ride, and there are shuttles all day long. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. We also got the 2 day park pass and stayed 3 nights in the hotel to maximize our stay and the use of our park passes.

Good but a bit disappointed

The staff is helpful and welcoming. The perfect breakfast in quality and choice. But the room is quite disappointing with very basic decor; fortunately, there is a portrait of Mickey, otherwise, there is nothing Disney-related. The shower is functional but very small. No choice of television channels other than Disney and China.

That's great.

Disney lodge Hong Kong. It's a really cool place. It's all decorated in the same style. Children are given a name badge at check-in. No brushes in the rooms! So take it with you. The rooms themselves are very spacious. There are free cards inside.
Various activities for children take place throughout the day. If you go through the territory and find the “secret places,” you will get a magnet.
There's a pool outside.
Breakfast is good: a variety of food milked by children and adults. You can take a picture with Mickey Mouse. For an extra charge, buy a photo from a photographer.
By the way, the hotel has a gift shop with very sane prices.
There's a shuttle to Disneyland every 15 minutes.
I'd say the hotel itself is suitable for adults.
Disneyland really liked it. But it's designed more for kids. There are no extreme coasters. But a lot of shock, all sorts of rides. I've enjoyed everything personally. I suggest you buy a priority pass. Then you can visit 8 rides without queuing. It saves a lot of time. And get access to the front-row show tonight. Trust me, it's worth it. The performance just feels amazing, like you've become the hero of one of the cartoons. No problem with food or toilets. European food can also be found without problems. Really enjoyed the parade when you got splashed with water. In the heat, that's it. From 10 o'clock until the evening show, we had time to ride almost all the rides. But on a weekday and with a pass as a priority.

Nice rooms but be prepared to wait

Of the three hotels that I stayed in during my recent HK trip, the room at the Disney Explorers Loge was the nicest. The "explorer" decor was throughout the entire hotel - even down to the elevators (which made it look like you were in a hot air balloon).
When you arrive, they are extremely efficient in immediately collecting your baggage and whisking it away. We checked in early and were told that we would be notified when our room was ready - HOWEVER, if we wanted to pay extra to upgrade our room, they could immediately provide a room. We declined and opted to explore the property and the other Disney hotels.
When we returned, there were several families camped out in the lobby waiting for their room. When it came close to check in time, I followed up with the front desk and they were able to give us a room. Our luggage was delivered shortly after.
The room was quite spacious and the theming in the room was quite clever and tastefully done. It had all the amenities you would expect - coffeemaker, robe, slippers and various charging cables.
They provide shuttle service to the park, where you can also take the MTR other destinations. We did not eat at the hotel, so I can't comment on the restaurants on the premises.
I had booked online through the Hong Kong Disneyland website and forgot that It had said, "Book your hotel stay online to receive exclusive privileges-room upgrade and complimentary drink." We did not get that room upgrade (which would have saved us from waiting hours for our room) or that complimentary drink. If you book online, please make sure that they honor this. If we had been spared the wait (or at least texted when a room was available), I would have given Disney Explorers Lodge five stars.
