I expected more from a 4 star, I got less (two and a half stars)

We have been staying in a bungalow at this hotel for a week and are close to leaving. The rooms are large enough, but decidedly obsolete, some built in 1998/1999, others date back to 2017. The mattresses are very comfortable, the pillows instead ugly and uncomfortable.
The TV has no European channels in English, neither Italian nor French, and cannot be retuned because the remote control is not working. The old air conditioner has its own remote control with illegible display, but only to turn on and off, so the temperature can not be adjusted which is 27 degrees fixed, so it is better to keep the windows open because it is cooler outside in this period.
Internet works fine, but only near reception. In the rooms in the evening and in the morning often did not work at all, in the last two days it is better. Hot water in the evening takes over two minutes to arrive and is often only just warm, or stays cold, the whole structure and facilities being obsolete. There is a need for substantial work to be able to define a 4 star . The food is plentiful, but average quality. The staff is largely friendly and helpful. It is not a 4 star as stated, but looks like an old 3 star (old joins and doorposts with signs of wear as well as the en suite bathroom or sink top, both old and marked by time and usage). Many families present with children but both parents and children are not always all polite. The beach and the sea are in front of the hotel with free deck chairs and umbrellas available to guests, but insufficient to satisfy everyone. Many of the outdoor showers (including the one on the beach) are not working, and judging by their state, for some time.
Those who run the hotel need to do better overall to get it back up and running.
Disappointing.

No stress

I don't give 5 ⭐️, because I love Cape Verde and for me Cape Verde means No Stress and Morabeza (friendliness, art of welcoming), this year I went to spend my birthday at Sal Island and I think the Resort could have left in the room a card to give congratulations. Taking that...
I loved the resort, the staff (bars, restaurants, bedrooms,...) very friendly and available, varied food, and the animation (Caboverdian music and dances), during the day at the pool, and, at night, varied shows, but most of the 7 days Caboverdian culture.
The beach is great and the pools as well.

Vacation in Cape Verde

Beautiful place to enjoy your vacation. Rooms or bungalows, it's up to you to choose. The 3 pools are nice, the restaurants are too. Access to the beach is very appreciated.

Good.

Sleeping in bungalows, with some noise, good food but very repetitive, was not diverse. Little or no animation at night. Overall, good, but nothing more.
