A Wonderful Stay !

I loved my experience staying at this Bed and Breakfast! My boyfriend and I stayed there for a night in early May and I was delighted with the energy of the staff and the vibe of the building. Our room was so cozy and I loved the decour. Everything was very clean and well kept. It was peaceful and quite quiet as it also is in a great neighborhood, in good proximity to town but far enough to reduce the noise. The staff were really friendly and created such a welcoming and safe environment. The breakfast in the morning felt so calming. I loved coming down to eat as they had great choices for breakfast. Overall, this was a very pleasant place to stay!

Bed and breakfast properties are so much more comfortable and friendly than hotels. Each morning at breakfast, we met someone new and had a delightful chat. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, but might not be enough for someone with a hearty appetite.

Historic charm & authentic old-world vibe

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Marketa’s Bed & Breakfast in Victoria. The 116-year-old building has a beautiful historic charm and authentic old-world atmosphere that made our stay truly memorable.
We especially enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi bathtub, the delicious breakfast, and the cozy living room filled with fascinating antiques and vintage pieces that reflect the character of old Canada and the UK.
A special thank you to Mitra and Nara, sisters, who were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and charming place to stay in Victoria!

Marketas…THE place to stay in Victoria

This is THE place to stay in Victoria. We’ve been coming to stay at Marketas for many years for our anniversary. Marketa is a warm, friendly and inviting person who personifies old world European flair. Her staff go out of their way to make you feel like you are at home. Beds are comfy. Rooms spotless. So close to Fisherman’s Market and the Inner Harbour. And the breakfast…the breakfast. Fabulous! I’d give 10 stars if I could. Even though we could stay with family and friends who live in Victoria, we stay at Marketas!

A very warm and welcoming Bed and Breakfast is a lovely Victorian style home. The breakfast was a lovely spread, made even better by the friendly staff. This was a great location for exploring Victoria!
