Great hotel on Victoria's Inner Harbour

This is our second visit to the Hotel Grand Pacific. The harbor view rooms are exceptional, with great views of the Inner Harbour of Victoria. The hotel is directly across the street from the Black Ball Ferry Line, if you are arriving from Port Angeles, WA. The staff are friendly, the hotel is well maintained, and the rooms are inviting. On our most recent trip, we were pleasantly surprised to see that we had been upgraded to the Malahat suite on the 10th floor. The suite has 3 balconies, a dining area, a fireplace, a separate bedroom, and heated bathroom floors. The suite provided the perfect place to unwind after a day of visiting the sights of Victoria. The hotel is within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, sights. If you are looking for a great hotel in the heart of Victoria's Inner Harbour, I would encourage you to book a room here. You will not be disappointed.

The Grand Pacific Hotel was such a great place to stay while away from home. I would definitely go back there again.

Really a fine facility right on the harbourfront. Nice spacious rooms. We had a corner type room with a balcony - perfect spot to sit and sip a wine while watching the goings-on in the harbour. Comfortable bedding, good soaps etc. The room had a kettle so we were able to have tea in the morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice safe part of the city. Park in the underground first without paying at the pay-station as it is cheaper and longer if paid as part of your hotel cost.

I would rate this hotel just ok. Beds were uncomfortably hard. The bathroom looked like it had previous water damage. The concierge was not really helpful at all.

We spent three nights here in August 2026. Our suite was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had delicious breakfasts every day at the Fathom. We celebrated our anniversary with a restaurant dinner there that we both loved. The hotel is very convenient to the downtown attractions. We spent more than we usually do for accommodationson a trip, but this was well worth the cost.
