My New Favorite Stay in Vancouver

I’ve stayed at a bunch of fine Bonvoy properties in Vancouver, but JW Marriott Parq Vancouver has totally become my new favorite. The location just works: you can walk straight to the dog park, and the jogging path along False Creek is perfect. The service is always quick and genuinely kind. And honestly, the Executive Lounge is the real star. The quality of food there is on another level, heads down the best lounge spread in Vancouver!

Fantastic Location, Good Executive Lounge But Not the Best Rooms

We stayed here one night on the way to the airport (travelling from the Sunshine Coast). The location is phenomenal: steps from the beautiful sea wall and False Creek and close to Sky train (it was only about half an hour to the airport and that includes waking time!).
We stayed in a suite with lounge access. The suite had phenomenal views of the city and False Creek. The bathroom was amazing with a deep soaker tub (with crazy views)separate walk in shower and a separate toilet cubicle. As nice as the bathroom, the rest of the suite was very odd:
The living room had a odd and very uncomfortable couch and there didn't seem to be any AC in the bedroom so it was hot. My wife and I both noticed how uncomfortable the pillows were, not something I usually notice but it was hard to sleep....
The club lounge had good food options (breakfast and evening appetizers), cash bar but a nice wine selection with reasonable prices but the seating was limited and mostly couches/lounge chairs that made eating challenging.
The best part of the hotel were the staff, everyone was super friendly.

Still waiting for a refund

I’ll give you the positive observations first - it was clean and my room was spacious and had everything I needed (hair dryer, good shower, nice soap etc). However, the spa was pretty dated, there was no breakfast buffet, the breakfast I did get was average at best and the service was SLOW. But worst of all they charged me double for my stay there, and despite emailing and calling I still haven’t been refunded and it’s three weeks later. I recommend you find somewhere better to stay.

Great Option in Vancouver!

Very nice hotel! Rooms were spacious. Bathrooms were big enough for two to get ready at the same time - separate area with door for toilet. Lovely view of the water. Very clean. Could use a few more restaurant options. Casino onsite. Close to Costco!

We had a great stay at this property. The executive lounge was very well appointed and we enjoyed the rooftop deck area. Very comfortable beds though we wished for more convenient outlets for charging. Staff was friendly and helpful.
