Great Location, Clean Hotel with Friendly Staff
My only complaint is that when we asked the bar staff to borrow to two wine glasses from the bar, for our champagne, we were told no, unless we bought the champagne from them.. That is VERY CHINTZY.

Areas to improve
Customer service was just dreadful. I get it things go wrong, bookings get messed up but what is unacceptable is repeated commitments to address problems. Front desk are personable but largely ineffective, resulting in huge frustration and time wasted. Specifically we booked a 3 person room…wrong room, bed not made, room not equipped for 3 people. Roughly 10 visits to reception to fix, should be one.
Hygiene
The shower didn’t empty so rather than cause a flood, I had to remove the drain cover and find a filter full of human hair and I don’t know what. It resembled a child’s science project. Really do not expect to have to do that on holiday.
Breakfast
It has somewhat comedic appeal. Everything is done on a budget, and tastes according. It’s a bit like that Star Trek quote, ‘it’s life Jim but not as we know it’. Again the customer experience is dreadful, by 9.45 you will be told the restaurant is closing, it’s also not hard to spot as the food starts disappearing. The comedy is watching the staff trying to run this like a CIA mission on headsets, led by manager who has watched too much Netflix. Who incidentally was incredibly rude to a fellow guest who had the audacity to bring in coffee, the reason why is that the coffee is dreadful, and I mean dreadful. He was told it is against the rules, but he would make an acception ‘this time’. He then proceeded to mentor one of his protégés on how you need to be assertive with guests. The message may have been right but the how was all wrong.
What is obvious is there is an issue with the hotel, and the feeling you get from the staff is the same, which is really a shame.

Great hotel, but breakfast needs improvement
Breakfast is another thing, the room is too small, so lots of waiting before you have a seat, this is also caused by the strange setup of the breakfast, so people are searching and waiting a lot, and that causes people to stay longer, and thus increasing the waiting time. Please have a good look at the breakfast capacity, setup etc, as lots of people were complaining about it.

We were a party of 3 and room booking for 3 but only 2 coffee cups and glasses and we used the glasses and staff left each day dirty but my only slight irritation
