I'd rather sleep in my truck for free

This place was horrible. I stayed for 2 nights with my 6 year old. The first room had a broken chain lock and the shower knob came off in my hand. Had to pack up my luggage and child and move rooms at 10:30pm. The second morning we woke up to no hot water in our room. I called the front desk about both issues and both times I had to walk down to the front desk to follow up. After we checked out I started receiving credit card notifications about charges being made to my card. They charged $250 in addition to my room. When I called and asked they told me it was a smoking fee for smoking in the room. I have never smoked in my life and I had my child with me the whole weekend, I was definitely not smoking in that room (they did credit that, but I had to call and argue with them). And to top it off the pool was not working, the wifi was not working the first night, and it took forever to get towels because "they didn't have any left", and the walls were dirty.

THE ROOM SMELLED LIKE A SMOKER AS SOON AS WE OPENED THE DOOR. THE AIR CONDITIONER IS HIGH UP ON THE WALL AND WITH VERY LITTLE LIGHT WAS HARD TO SEE TO OPERATE. IT LOOKED LIKE IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED FOR A LONG TIME AS MOLD WAS GROWING INSIDE THE VENTS.WE WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! When we arrived the parking lot was completely full and we were told to park on the street. Even though it was late at night and pouring rain, there were people looming around outside. Pretty sure it is being used for BC housing. Our room was absolutely disgusting with stained carpets, mattress protectors, lampshades. It’s one thing for a room to be old but it’s another for it to be in complete disrepair. The ceiling tiles were bulging and we heard something dripping all night long. The room smelt so musty and overwhelmingly of shellfish, so bad we had to get multiple febreeze bottles from the front desk, but that only covered it so well. It was hot but the AC and windows were caked in dust. Also, the lock on the window was broken and for a mother and a teenage daughter that was terrifying, so we needed more help from the front desk getting a window lock. The bathroom door didn’t even close. We didn’t even bring any of our belongings into the room even though we were worried about them getting stolen from our car. Overall it was an awful experience, and we left without breakfast to go shower at a campsite.

I arrived at this motel and went to front desk to claim my reservation for a room with 2 beds. I was told they had no such room available. After considerable discussion I was given a room with a bed and a couch. Beds were terrible and I had to call front desk demanding they bring up toilet paper since there was none in the room. The next morning front desk called and promised tonput me in a proper room when housekeeping was available. I went out for the day but upon my return nothing had changed. When I started to make a scene the desk clerk found an available room. Stay far away from this dunghole.

Better to sleep in your vehicle

I arrived to be told the room with two beds I had reserved weeks earlier was not available. After some spirited discussion a room with a bed and couch was supplied. Beds were terrible! Parking was almost impossible to find and then a climb up multiple flights of stairs to get to the room. The advertised hot tub has been non functional for over 6 months. I strongly recommend avoiding this place
