Modern clean hotel with comfortable bed.

I stayed in the Courtyard Quebec City for 2 nights, August 28 to 30. Was assigned a King room on the 3rd floor. Really enjoyed staying in this property as the rooms were clean & spacious & the bed was the most comfortable mattress we've slept on. The front staff were friendly & spoke English. The property offers free parking with a covered section on the lot. I also appreciated the Keurig in the rooms but found it odd that no complimentary bottled waters were provided. The only thing preventing me from giving this property a perfect score was a weird situation where we interacted with a male on the housekeeping staff, tipped him $5 to clean our room & went on our way to explore the Old City for the day & came back 7 hours later. To our surprise, our room was not even touched even though that room attendant was right next door & saw me depart from my room. A head scratcher for sure. As I complained to the front desk they were able to supply clean towels, empty the garbage bins etc., but the bed could not be made up that late in the evening. I was thankful the front desk was able to partially deal with our minor issue so quickly. The hotel itself is in a good location, surrounded by countless restaurants which can be accessed by walking and the downtown tourist area of Quebec City was only a 15 minute car ride away. As it was my first time visiting Quebec City I was satisfied with the stay & if I'm ever in the area I would definitely consider staying at the Courtyard again.

New Courtyard

We stayed here in August 2026.
Good new hotel on the outskirts of Quebec.
When checking in, they did not offer us any upgrade as Platinum Bonvoy members. Our standard king room was not available when we arrived to check in (at 12:00 PM) and they indicated that we had to wait 2 hours. Mind you, they let us use the washing machines and the pool while we waited for the time to have our room available.

Bonjour, merci pour vos commentaires. Nous sommes heureux que vous ayez passé un agréable séjour. Les arrivées sont garantis pour 16h et il nous fait plaisir de surclasser gratuitement nos membres élites. Cependant, il arrive certaine journée que nous ayons une très grande quantité de clients élites, platinum, titanium et ambassadeur et nous avons un mombre très limité de suites. Les surclassements étaient fait le jour même et les taux d'occupation très élevés en été nous empêche donc parfois de vous offrir ce privilège. Nous espérons vous revoir prochainement.

The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay pleasant. However, the room was very basic and lacked the amenities I would normally expect from a Marriott property. The bathroom only had the most basic toiletries, with no additional amenities provided. Overall, the service was good, but the room experience did not meet the standards I associate with the Marriott brand.

Wonderful experience. Clean and accommodations were very nice. Great food at the restaurant also. Convenient location while visiting Quebec City!

No specific access aisles for handicapped parking. Room was good. Staff was courteous.
