Great Stay

Stayed here for one night in June 2026. Checkin was pleasant. Room was in perfect condition and nicely decorated. Stayed in a room with a couch, microwave and minifridge.
Well situated on the TransCanada Highway outside of Wawa. Motel is separated from the highway by a large expanse of lawn. Didn't have time to utilize the outdoor seating on the grass.
Looking forward to our stay in July on our return trip home. Highly recommend.

Clean!

It's very nicely kept up and you can tell that the owner cares. Has barbeques on the property & the rooms are charming and clean. The owner is extremely friendly! Only negative is that the beds are sorta old mattresses so not fantastically comfortable & that it is so close to the highway. Good value though!

This is our second time staying at this wonderful place, and it continues to impress. The location is perfect for travellers, tucked just off the highway, surrounded by woods, peaceful and convenient. It truly matches, if not exceeds, many top‑rated hotels.
The staff / owner are amazing hosts, and the rooms feel like a dream, uniquely decorated with thoughtful details that make the stay special. The beds are extremely comfortable, everything is spotless, and you can feel the care put into every corner.
We’ll continue staying here whenever we can, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and genuinely welcoming place to stay.

The Extra Mile

Parkway is a lovely, little mom-and-pop motel that cares about its patrons. The owner smartly has separate wash rags in your room to use to wash all of the bugs and bird droppings off your car. Why? She cares, as Wawa has no car wash. There are also several little offerings in the bathroom to make your stay nice. But, the creme de la creme (sorry for you French speakers!) is the cleanliness. I do a yoga routine that often brings me down on the floor of hotel rooms where a fitness center isn't available. I can tell you, I usually dread it. Well, not at Parkway. The carpet even smelled clean...wow! Finally, there is an outdoor grill, gazebo, and lawn chairs that patrons took advantage of when the weather finally warmed up this week. It is also conveniently off Hwy 17, but far enough off the road so that road noise isn't a problem. Don't hunt further for lodging in Wawa.
