Wish we stayed longer!

Incredibly special place! Our cabin was super charming with a nice mix of contemporary and woodsy vibes. It was spacious, clean, well equipped with more than the basics. The view was gorgeous and we especially loved the dock which has gorgeous views during the day and evening. We never got a chance to hang out at the fire pit or eat at their restaurant because we were enjoying the fireplace in our cabin and dinners around our big dining table (we used the BBQ, each cabin has one). We regret not booking a longer weekend so we'll be coming back to try both of those out. The menu at the restaurant looks spectacular! It was also a quick trip to the nearest store to grab some things we forgot. We are 100% coming back.

Haliburton Post House is a special place.

I spent a spring weekend at the Haliburton Post House with a few girlfriends for a much-needed getaway, and it was absolutely wonderful. The cabins were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was great for cooking together, and we made good use of the BBQ. There were lovely touches, like homemade cookies waiting for us when we arrived.
We spent time relaxing on the dock and loved that we had access to kayaks. Somehow, we ran out of time to use the sauna. The property is peaceful and quiet. The internet and cell service were also excellent, which was a relief since two of us had some unexpected work to take care of.
On a previous trip to the area, I had a chance to eat at the restaurant and was so impressed that it became the reason we booked a stay this time. The food and service were fantastic. The same warm and welcoming vibe carried through this entire visit. The staff genuinely care about the guest experience.
Haliburton Post House is a beautiful place. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend.

Peaceful & Comfortable Weekend Getaway in Haliburton

We had an amazing weekend at this lovely cottage in Haliburton! The setting was peaceful and scenic—perfect for a relaxing escape from the city. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and full of charm.
The beds were incredibly comfortable, with lovely cool and crisp sheets. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed to cook full meals.
We loved spending time by the lake, using the firepit in the evenings, and just soaking up the quiet natural surroundings. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Haliburton!
