The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was very clean, and the beds were comfortable.

The breakfast was very inadequate. Eggs, bacon , bread for toast were all gone by 9 am. It was a gong show! Lots of people waiting for food. We left and paid for breakfast elsewhere. Will never come back to this hotel.

I booked this stay over Expedia/Hotels.com!
The staff is friendly but yet, I wouldn’t recommend staying here! When you book with Hotels.com this Hilton says “you pay at property” they use your Hotels.com cc or debit card information to later double charge you on your stay! Very sad experience and hopefully this issue is going to be resolved soon!

New Property same old management same old problems.

new property but less than exciting. service was poor but not really surprising when we learned it is managed by the same team as manage the Home 2 next door. the rooms are extremely tiny - you have to go out into the hall to change your mind... we requested housekeeping during our stay and receive it once. I had go to the front desk and ask for clean towels. (no one really cares) the breakfast is buffet style, no butter, limited selection of amenities, when they fill the plastic cutlery trays, they do so with the handles down... I explained to the young man who was attending why it was wrong, no one had explained how to do it, but he thanked me and fixed them. the next morning it was wrong again however the front desk person filled them that morning who was also trained wrong. Given the management it is no wonder service is poor, staff are inadequately trained, and cleaning is substandard. as you would expect given the common senior management.

Modern, affordable, welcoming, comfortable

I was referred to this hotel by a nearby Hilton when I needed a last-minute stay for work. I hadn’t heard of Tru before, so I was initially a bit hesitant, but the hotel manager (Ayesha, I believe) immediately put me at ease when I called to ask about room availability.
Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff member, who was friendly, patient, and very organized. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I especially appreciated the abundance of outlets and USB ports throughout both the guest room and the communal dining and workspace areas on the ground floor.
The decor and furniture felt modern, fresh, and thoughtfully designed. It honestly felt like a more youthful, Gen Z-inspired take on the traditional Hilton experience — and I mean that entirely as a compliment. I’m genuinely excited to see this concept continue expanding across North America, as it strikes a great balance between sustainability, affordability, and comfort!
