An absolute gem

An absolute gem of hospitality not just in Gananoque but in all of Canada. Very welcoming and the rooms well maintained and presented. The breakfast basket is a delightful feature of this rare accommodation. Warm reception and very friendly people running the place.

Great accommodation, poor breakfast.

A beautiful old house with lovely gardens. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast is delivered to your door in a cooler and you have the option of eating in your room or going to the dining room or patio. The only comment I have is that the quality of the food provided is mediocre for a place which has a good quality restaurant open in the evening. Better to provide fresh muffins from a bakery and fresh orange juice rather than the commercially prepackaged version. There was fresh fruit but some yogurt would have been nice and we left the stale buns and packaged cheese behind. I am not a fan of a cooked breakfast but they cou,d do better.

A Delightful Boutique Hotel

We spent two nights at the Woodview Inn, and we loved every minute. Hosts John and Stephen and their staff are terrific and very welcoming. They are also knowledgeable and extremely heplful. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed. The inn itself is beautiful and superbly decorated. It's a short walk from the center of town and convenient to boat rides and restaurants. We enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast each morning. We took our breakfast into the beautiful dining room one day and out onto the lovely patio the next day. In short, staying at the Woodview Inn is a delightful experience. One additional note: We accidentally left something in our room when we left. As we pulled out of the parking lot onto the street, John came running out to find us. What an extraordinary effort! Thanks to John and Stephen and team for a delightful visit to Gananoque!

charming place to stay.

Clean and spacious room in an Inn with "character". Great host and friendly atmosphere. Nice patio/garden and lounge area to use the stay. The location of the hotel is convenient and close to everything you need in Gananoque

Beautiful hotel, helpful staff, delicious restaurant. I would definitely return.
My only comment (and this is just me being sensitive) the napkins and sheets were washed in a scented detergent and I could really smell it. It wasnt a bad smell, just overpowering to me. Nothing that would prevent me from returning though.
