Cosy hotel

Stayed here few times over the years,nice cosy hotel with big suites,lovely garden/pool area,staff/owners really friendly ,nice breakfast with good choice on menu,hidden gem,close to everything,shops/bars,would recommend

Hotel Central

Hotel Central is a small family hotel on a quiet street in the center of Burgas. The rooms are wide, the beds are comfortable, there are a refrigerator, TV and air conditioning. The hotel is open all year round and has not only family but also private rooms - convenience for people on business trips or traveling alone.

Enjoyable stay

To be honest, we didn't pay a lot for this B&B holiday. Expecting a room, we actually got a suite and although the hotel does need updating the comfort factor was very acceptable. The gardens and pool are lovely. We were given room 311 which overlooked the road at the front (not as busy as the main road), and at the back of the police station. The lounge area had a small fridge, microwave, sofa and two chairs, flat screen TV, and was 80% carpeted. There was more than ample wardrobe space in the hall and (whoopee) a full length hanging area for the maxi dresses. Both normal balconies have a fantastic fly screen door to keep the mossies out - air conditioning in both lounge and bedroom. Wifi was really hit and miss in our room. The family who fun this hotel are very welcoming. The family run a restaurant within the hotel and the meals were very good (reasonable prices too). The only small gripe we had was the lack of powdered sweetener but this was the same throughout the resort - if you use a jar of Candarel, Sweetex, Stevia or anything similar l would suggest you take it with you as you can't get it in the vast majority of eating places and definitely not in the supermarkets in the resort. Full marks to our lively chambermaid whose smile brightened up our day. There is a launderette very close by which is useful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Ok hotel, bad breakfast

We stayed here for 6 nights. We consider the price to be to high for the offered conditions. Bad breakfast, poor cleaning.
The location is okay, big and quiet room.
The staff was friendly, until there were problems to solve.
Our fridge was frozen, the door of was a broken, and we weren't helped by the staff.
We will not return or recommend this hotel. And it doesn't deserve 3* for sure.
