Just great!

Superb location, large fully equipped room, pleasant environment and a courteous and helfull front desk team.
The 10% discount at the restaurant across the street (not used) is a nice touch.
No mention was made of breakfast upon check-in. I assume it's available at a place nearby.
It would be difficult to find a better lodging option in Plovdiv.

Great Executive Guest House

Tired after more than 10 hours of Trip, we had a really relaxed Night. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The position in the middle of the Plovdiv City make this a very excellent Guest House. In the morning, we had breakfast in the coffee downstairs ..Recommended.

Good hotel with horrible checkin

The hotel's location is fine. The apartment where we stayed was also fine. A couple of years ago the hotel offered a fantastic buffet breakfast in a cafe next door but this year it was quite disappointing. No buffet, just a box full of various things, few of which were to our liking. Those who eat bacon and eggs for breakfast, and those who expect a big salad, fruits, a decent oatmeal, or pastries, will also be disappointed.
Yet, the biggest disappointment was check-in. It was supposed to be at 14:00 but the apartment was not ready. At 15:00 it was still not ready. At 15:20 it was still not ready. They had just begun cleaning it. A bad joke?
We complained to the manager and he apologized sincerely. But what could he do? The hotel is severely understaffed and unable to handle a full house. The receptionist works as a room maid as well. So, you get the idea.
If you do not mind checking in as late as 17:00 (no kidding), you can give it a try. Otherwise, try another hotel that WILL let you check in earlier.

Dear ferdamadr,
We consider it our right to state the facts. Making a reservation, you clearly read that there is no buffet. A continental breakfast is available for our guests. It's not served in a box as you stated, but nicely arranged on a tray for each guest, thanks to the lovely team of the cafe next door. The products are fresh. Breakfast also include freshly baked croissants, oatmeal, boiled eggs and fruits. By the way bacon and eggs (scramled ones) are a traditional breakfast in England, not in Bulgaria. This is the first time we hear of salad being eaten for breakfast (please excuse our negligence).
Regarding the check-in - You arrived before 2 p.m., that is, before the check-in time. You were told you could leave your luggage at the reception and we would call you when the room was ready. You came directly shortly after 3 p.m., your room wasn't ready yet. You started shouting at the receptionist and in front of another guest. Despite that unacceptable behaviour, you were listened patiently and waited to calm down, you were politely explained that the room would be ready in about half an hour to 40 minutes, which it did.
We have to point out that we do not tolerate rude or arrogant attitude toward us or such in our premises - this is contrary to our behaviour policy and principles.
You, dear sir, have no way of knowing whether we are understaffed or overstaffed. We all are a team and our main task and concern is to work for our guests. Needless to say that giving wrong sense and direction to future guests of ours is not a nice thing to do and disrespectful to say the least.

Charming, top service

We experienced a top service! Our hotel hostess was very helpfull with bus schedules, bookings etc - far beyond what could be expected.
Room spacy and well equipped. Breakfast in café next door included: High quality Italian style coffees, freshly baked croissant and home made orange juice, toasts, selection of sausages and cheese, honey, jam, veggies - delicious!

Just great

The hotel is located at the center at walking distance from the old town! The room 31 was a great, big room with all the facilities! It was super clean and really cozy! The staff...wow amazing!! I want to highlight the fact that the breakfast was not only delicious but also at 5 star hotel level! I highly recommend it and If go back I will stay there again!
