Review of Odeon Restaurant

Odeon restaurant is at the end of the old town of Plovdiv - it is also a hotel, but we only visited the restaurant. Food was delicious! The traditional Skopje salad was fresh with the shredded cows cheese. The Baked Meat with cheese still sizzling when it came out - delicious! Service was quick and friendly. Great restaurant to visit if you're in Plovdiv.

Location location location!

Wonderful boutique hotel within walking distance to absolutely everything. Our only complaint was the bathroom setup but that is a Bulgarian thing to have the floor always wet after a shower. The view from our room over the Roman ruins was priceless. Oh the safe was way too small for a laptop.

A wonderful hotel, very comfortable and practical!

Great hotel! Very well located (2 minutes from the center). Wonderful and very attentive staff (especially the receptionist Raya who in addition to taking care that everything was in order made several steps like getting us a taxi for Sofia)! Clean, tidy and comfortable rooms. A 10/10!

Great hotel for Plovidv

We were very happy with our three-night stay at the Hotel Odeon. The location could not be better. It is right next to the Roman Forum, just round the corner from the City Hall (where the free walking tours start) and two minutes' walk from the Bishop's Basilica museum. The Old Town and Kapana districts are just ten minutes away.
The hotel is at the end of a street that leads to the Old Town. The end part is closed to traffic by a barrier. We travelled by car and had requested car parking. When we reached the barrier we rang the hotel as instructed. The owner raised it, we took our luggage to the hotel and then drove back to the hotel's car parking spaces which were inside the barrier. The parking charge was 20 lev a day.
Our room was spacious and the furniture and rugs were of good quality. There was plenty of wardrobe space with real coathangers. The lighting was good: there was no problem reading in bed. The bathroom was good. The shower had an unusual screen but it worked fine despite the gaps between the panels of the screen. The only downsides were that the safe did not work and the wifi signal was somewhat unstable. The mattress was somewhat firmer than I like but that is a matter of personal taste. The hotel was clean and well maintained.
Breakfast was an adequate buffet. The breakfast room overlooks the Forum. We got to chat with some of the other guests which enhanced our stay. The owner spoke limited English but was pleasant and welcoming. We would be happy to go back.

One of the best hotels in Bulgaria

Excellent location, just behind the pedestrian street, right next to the archeology site of Plovdiv. Arrangement with a parking spot very close to the hotel ,large & beautiful rooms, exceptionally clean & fantastic design.
Excellent breakfast. I highly recommend to stay more than 1 night
