Cozy days, amazing dinners and the warmest hosts
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Devonshire Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Bansko. It's warm, cosy and very comfortable, and all the bungalows have been recently renovated with great taste, creating a stylish yet homely and relaxing atmosphere. Everything is very clean and well looked after, so you immediately feel that you are in a cared‑for, welcoming place rather than in a hotel.
A huge part of the experience is the hospitality of the hosts, Andrey and Irina. They are genuinely friendly and truly interested in their guests, so every conversation with them is a pleasure and often turns into an exchange of fascinating stories. Andrey is an outstanding cook with his own “secret recipes”: breakfasts and dinners were consistently delicious, generous and beautifully prepared, and you can really taste the love and care he puts into his food. And his home-baked cakes... miammm! Irina creates a very warm, welcoming atmosphere and always seems to be one step ahead of what the guests might need.
Andrey and Irina were incredibly helpful with every practical detail of the trip: from excellent recommendations on restaurants, cultural events and other things to do in and around Bansko, which allowed us to discover places we would never have thought about by our own, to organising ski passes and equipment rental, and daily transfers to the ski lift, which made the whole ski side of the holiday much easier. The stay felt like visiting good friends who take care and generously share their home with you.
Devonshire Lodge feels like a “home away from home” in Bansko, and it is exactly the kind of place you want to come back to. Andrey and Irina manage to combine professional service with very personal, heartfelt hospitality, which is quite rare. We are very grateful for the time we spent there and will happily recommend Devonshire Lodge to friends and family planning a trip to Bansko.

Fantastic stay at Devonshire Lodge
We stayed at Devonshire Lodge over new year and I cannot recommend it enough! Andrei and Irina are simply incredible hosts. From clear communication before we got there, to introducing us to Tosh to arrange our transfers and ski hire, they went out of their way to make our whole skiing experience as enjoyable as possible.
The lodge itself is exactly what we were hoping for. The rooms were clean and relaxing, with plenty of space, large beds and ensuite bathrooms. If we needed anything Andrei was insistent that we asked. We had great wifi access in the bedrooms but we loved spending time in the communal area and around the dinning table, where Andrei's selection of delicious cakes became a focal point of our afternoon. This was followed with an evening meal cooked by Andrei and Irina - some of the best home cooked food I have ever had!

Probably our 10th year staying here
This is probably our 10th year coming to the lodge and we always have such an amazing time
Welcomed by the lovely hosts glynis nigel and tosh
For us we can come as a couple or come as a family as the accommodation is adaptable
If it is just us as a couple it’s always nice to meet other people here as well
We love the transfers they are always made easy
Our ski passes are always ready when we get there and they always make sure we are sorted with our skis etc
Nothing is too much trouble
It really is a cosy place close to the slopes
Free WiFi ,honesty bar ,everything you need for a great time skiing
The snow has been brilliant this year and even though there are queues they go down so quick your up the mountain before you know it
The food is always brilliant in the lodge
if you choose to go catered
We must love it we just keep coming back year after year ⛷️

Fantastic!!!!!
We stayed for 7 nights over New Year for our family ski holiday, the accommodation is great plenty of space in the individual rooms and big enough for our big family group! Glynis Nigel and Tosh were fantastic hosts, the food was outstanding and we were well looked after! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone

Great place to stay for a few weeks in the summer!
The Devonshire Lodge was a great place to stay for a few weeks in the summer. Well located for the old town and the gondola area. The room had everything I needed, the kitchen was well stocked and the living room / dining area was a great place to relax and work online during the day. Nigel and Glynis are very friendly and welcoming and as a cyclist myself, it was great to be in the company of enthusiastic and knowledgeable hosts with a passion for bikes!
