Superb welcome but this hotel does not deserve 4 stars

We stayed from July 7 to July 21 at the Arrabella Beach hotel, the welcome was top-notch but renovation work is needed, the bathroom in the rooms is all dilapidated, and in terms of cleanliness too, the bathroom as well as the toilets are not cleaned every day, it's a shame because the staff is really super nice and the reception, the entrance hall was also not very clean, we loved Albena, we will certainly come back

Worst hotel ever

Worst hotel ive ever stayed in
Supposed to have been al inclusive
Filthy restaurant almost ran out of food and drink
Hotel right on the beach which was lucky as pool was never cleaned
View from our room was lovely
Staff were not happy and didn't want to help when we complained we were hungry.

Can you please specify when you have visited the hotel, because in your date of stay - October 2024 the hotel was already closed and some of the pictures looks like taken years ago. Easily the worst 4-star hotel I have visited

Bear in mind, this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. Beside the things from the photos, the ventilation in the toilet is not working, the hairdryer is not working, there is no internet in the room and the TV remote control is not even original (many buttons don’t work or perform different functions than the ones shown). There aren’t even any drinking glasses in the room (again, this is a 4-star hotel). I have absolutely no idea how the legislation in Bulgaria allows this to be considered a 4-star hotel. In any other european country, it would be rated as a 3-star hotel on a good day. The food is decent, but nothing special. You get about 90% of the same dishes every day. At the reception, there is a cheap table tennis table and a cheap billiards table. My conclusion is that nobody really cares, not even the Ministry of Tourism in Bulgaria. I would never go back there, not in a million years, nor even return to Bulgaria for a stay. Once again, how can this hotel still hold a 4-star rating in such a condition?

hotel is HORRIBLE

Impressed by the hospitality and the diverse food, but the hotel is HORRIBLE. Very dirty, not because the staff isn’t doing their job, but because the place is extremely old. The rooms have a terrible smell, the furniture is damaged, and the bathrooms look like public restrooms. Disappointed by the condition of the hotel — unfortunately, it's barely a 2-star hotel, and that's being generous.

Avoid of all cost!

AVOID! The worst 4 star hotel I have ever visited, I wonder how its 4 star at all! The rooms and bathrooms are extremly old and wear off! There is NOT wi-fi at all in the rooms, restaurant, only some internet near the reception, with no options to sit down or charge your device! Only one plug to charge your devices in the room, which is too far from the bed. The food not much options and everything cold. We are so disappointed, especially for the high price we paid for this crap hotel! Our holiday is ruined and our money robbed! I wish i have never booked this terrible place!

thanks for the detailed review. As you know not every hotel offer wi-fi in the rooms - it is clearly written in the description of the hotel when you make the reservation and book the hotel. We have free wi-fi on the reception and on the beach. Till now, there are no complains about variety and quality of the food, we are trying to offer the best price=quality system to our guests for a hotel which is situated on the first line!
