A good place

The place is very good! It is very well located and the photos correspond to the advertisement, the only negative point is that it is on a corner with traffic lights, so it is a little noisier. Other than that, all the other items served us perfectly. Contact with the rental staff was also simple, agile and very friendly.

Terrible. Avoid if you can.

Bad Service. Had made a previous reservation. Once there they asked me to pay my 20 days in advance, otherwise will ask me to go away!
The bathroom is so narrow that you have to close the door after going in to get access to the washbasin. Also the shower door let you go in only if you squeeze through it.
Only cold water in the washbasin. Overall I suggest to book any other place. Very bad experience. Worst hotel I have ever been in 65 countries.

Location!

The best thing about it is its location, close to bars, restaurants, businesses and (relatively) close to a metro station. Spartan accomodations, but cheap, clean and safe; If you are in sampa for something else than staying in your hotel room, can be a good choice.

Great value option

I stayed at Bela Cintra for a month during a short internship in Sao Paulo. Having heard so much about the city's problems beforehand it was reassuring to find the flat in such a safe and relatively pleasant area. It's within a five minutes walk of plenty of cafes, restaurants, laundrettes (albeit expensive ones) and shops. 10-15 minutes further afield you'll find two shopping centres, metro stations and Avenida Paulista. The flat itself, an "Ouro Vermelho" option I think, was plenty large enough with a comfy bed and most of the things you'll need to survive. It was a bit limiting not having an oven or grill and the internet (extra cost) was provided through a cable so couldn't really be used away from the bed. In general though the staff were friendly and helpful with everything, even giving me a discount for not having the room I first enquired about. Wouldn't have any qualms about staying here again, although I imagine the lack of air con would be an issue had my visit been in summer.

A lot older than it appears on the website, think 1970's.

We were happy with it's location, walk to restaurants and the metro and it was clean but not much else positive to say I am afraid, I wouldn't be recommending it to anyone.
It was incredibly hot and there wasn't any air con, only a fan that was positioned at the end of the bed - so basically useless. The lack of wi fi was frustrating and everything is very old, worn and dated, the TV and fridge are totally antiquated.
On top of all that it was extremely noisy outside so it was very difficult to sleep with the window open.
I think you can do better.
