Could be better.
Wi fi very slow and bad. The way the youngest receptionist of the night approached me charging the room payment was rigid, being that the room was already paid, and the mistake had been the hotel itself, not having conferred right over. The approaches about this type of episode, his was not the best, I q graduated in Hospitality, I found well decent and need training for these types of approaches to hosts..

It's worth the hotel, but it can improve.
My mother and I stayed in two apartments for four nights.
The hotel has a friendly staff and a good breakfast and some rooms are more and others a little less spacious. Anyway, it's a good choice.
Meanwhile, three things I found kind of inconvenient:
1, the room I stayed, even having been booked days before and having arrived at 4:00, was with the floor considerably dusty when I arrived. The other day the faxine was performed, and everything was fine;
2, there is a very chatty standard in the hotel. That the car keys have to stay in the gate, even if the hotel isn't full. This disturbs, because it is half large, and having to take "a round", between the apartment and the good and spacious parking; on busy days, I think it makes sense for cars that do not fit in the various vacancies, but on vacancies and/or cars parked in vacancies, I think unnecessary;
3, the apartment that my mother stayed had a small leak/tripper. And this was the worst part, and it made me "note 4 instead of 5". On one of the days, the drip increased, and we borrowed a bucket and clothes (we suggest). But, the fact that, in a reservation made 4 days before arrival, and the hotel at 23/12 (when we arrived) was not so full, and an apartment with a dropper, even more for an elderly person, does not fit with a higher quality service...
Anyway, I would come back, and I would recommend. But I think the hotel is better appreciated for these "details".

Very old, I'm not coming back. Different from the site photo.
But the London Hotel was a real disappointment. Its physical structure is very old, requiring a renovation, mainly furniture exchange. The bathroom smells bad, the pot seat smells bad, bad shower, no possibility of water exit such as shower, the pressure of water in single jet gets hurt.
The closet built into the room was smelling mold. Cleanliness of the room leaves much to be desired. We were placed in a room where the hallway was of carpet, already well aged, with a strong smell of dust. The halllight at night had no motion sensor and we had to do everything in the dark until we entered the room and opened the door.
The air conditioning is quite old and was not working well, only in the maximum position refreshed a little, but making a very loud noise.
Breakfast is organized, but when eating mixed eggs I found several pieces of egg shell.
The only positive point in my lodging was the service of the receptionists, very attentive.
But I do not recommend. São Lourenço is a charming city that has other great accommodation options. The biggest surprise is to know that the business group that also manages the Hotel Metrópole, leaves one of the hotels in its chain in this state. Lamentável.
