A hotel in the middle of Rio Cinelandia district and in walking distnce to the Theatro Municipal. The cost is very reasonable for the location but the Hotel could do with some serious upgrading, airconditioners were extremely old and so noisy that we slept without the unit on and only used it when we were awake in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful which made our stay easy. The Hotel is within walking distance of Praca XV which makes it convenient to catch the ferry across to Niteroi. The area, unfortunately is not very good, there are lots of police and civil guard in the large park areas but it is not advisable to stray away from these areas at night. Breakfast was the usual fare for Brazilian Hotels/Pousadas with plenty available.

Hotel old and duty

Disappointing stay. *Negatives:* A very old and poorly maintained hotel. My room had no view. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired: dirty floors in the corners, stained walls, and dirty windows. The shower stall looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and there was mold around the edges of the sink. Maintenance issues: the toilet flush didn't work properly, and the shower water wouldn't get hot. The bed was very hard and the pillows were old, making it difficult to sleep. *Positive:* The breakfast is good, offering a nice variety of sweet and savory breads; it starts at 6:30 AM, which is helpful for those with early appointments. The location is good, close to the consulates. Given the price, I expected much better attention to cleanliness and the condition of the facilities. It is only worth it for the location if you need to visit the consulate very early.

*Negativos:* Hotel muito antigo e mal conservado. Meu quarto não tinha vista de janela. Na limpeza, deixou muito a desejar: chão sujo nos cantos, paredes manchadas, janelas sujas. O box do banheiro estava com aspecto de não ser lavado há muito tempo, pia com mofo nas bordas. Problemas de manutenção: descarga não funcionava direto e o chuveiro não esquentava. Cama muito dura e travesseiros velhos, dificultando o sono.
*Positivo:* O café da manhã é bom, com boa variedade de pães doces e salgados, começando às 6:30 o que ajuda quem tem compromisso cedo. A localização é boa, perto dos consulados.
Pelo preço cobrado, esperava muito mais cuidado com limpeza e estrutura. Só vale pela localização se você precisar ir ao consulado bem cedo.

There was a super king size bed in the room which took up most of the room and made placing luggage and moving about difficult, a double bed would have been plenty and then there would have been room to move. The staff were very friendly and helpful, air conditioning was good and the location of the Hotel was excellent being close to parks, municipal theatre etc. Will stay again but we will make sure we get a room with more space. Breakfast was the usual Brazilian hotel breakfast and was fine.

Low rated because of the very bad internet connection, the uncomfortable bed and the low quality breakfast but convenient location and staff friendly

Take off a disaster

I'm really sorry if I use this space that has nothing to do with this hotel I need an URGENT stay for my daughter and I on 27/12 until 9/1, I'm desperate to buy a package on TAKE OFF And when I was going to confirm the reservation, the aparthotel or I don't know what it was, it tells me that I had everything occupied, I paid almost 3000 dollars help me please thank you
