It was beyond my expectations
Hosting me at Zili was a grateful surprise. Very welcoming Mood, full of art and diversity. It is a large historic mansion, with large living spaces and several room options, including private rooms. There are bathrooms with and without hot water (I imagine that due to the summer of the Northeast). The internet works very well.
I really liked the service, especially for Karin, which illustrates the democratic and receptive spirit of the hostel. Breakfast is paid, has cuscuz and tapioca, and is well served.
I stayed in a room of ten beds, found everything clean and organized and even when there was any issue that I needed to trigger someone, quickly resolved.
The hostel is well located, close to Shopping Boa Vista, the Thirteen of May Park, Rua da Aurora and relatively close to the Marco Zero (you can walk there for about 15/20 minutes).
I do not recommend walking alone in the neighborhood at night, as in any central region of a large Brazilian city, but it is worth staying there because you save a lot because of the location, even if you use transport by application, which, including, is very well served.
All I have to do is thank you for such pleasant days and for sure, if one day I return to Recife, Zili will be the first choice of accommodation.

Hostel with home feel
My experience at Zili was GREAT! The house is beautiful, and the whole Mood is very cozy. I felt very much at home. The people who work there are wonderful and always ready to help if needed. The rooms have a cool structure and have air conditioning and a fan (indispensable in the climate of Recife). The cabinets are large and fit a lot of stuff.
There is a WhatsApp group with guests, where experiences and notices about the hostel can be shared. On one of the days I stayed, we were without water due to the maintenance of the city's sanitation Enterprise, and the staff kept us up-to-date through this group and ended up not being something that hampered the stay.
There are several very cool and comfortable places to stay and socialize with other guests.
The area is kind of weird at night, but by application transportation is quite quiet to be able to move around the entire metropolitan area. Including, it is very close to Olinda. During the day, the area is quite quiet, and you can take a bus or even walk through some points, such as the Old Recife (if you like walking). Shopping Boa Vista is less than 5 minutes from the hostel and is quite complete. There are several local shops as well.

Only doors with sensors are missing
The location is perfect! Simple and tasty breakfast! The hostel is super organized, clean and the decor is beautiful, full of paintings and souvenirs. It has social spaces and I was always able to make friends there!
For me, to be perfect, the only thing missing is a door with sensors, the kind that only guests installed in your room can enter, you know?!

The best Hostel in the center of Recife-PE that I have ever been to.
Well located in Conde da Boa Vista, close to everything: shopping malls, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, cultural sites and all shops in the center of Recife, as well as the famous Praça 13 de Maio, tree-lined, excellent for walking and practicing physical activities.
The Hostel is managed by young and very communicative people. The place has quite peculiar furniture that I really liked. Cleanliness is an important factor that I noticed in the environment. The rules are the same as those on the website, no surprises... The employees are helpful and always try to help the guest. I recommend it and will return again!
