A lovely oasis in the old town

We had a fantastic family stay at this very cool, artistic hotel. Stunning gardens with two pools, jacuzzis, sauna and lots of interesting furniture, art and books dotted around. Comfortable family rooms with lovely traditional features. The food was great, as was the location with is stepping out onto the cobbled streets of the old town.
​All of the staff gave amazing service, even surprising me with a birthday cake and a hand scribed little gift (thank you!) Just note that in-room water and coffee cost extra. We loved it!

Excellent!

Excellent in all aspects: elegant facilities with works of art, very comfortable, very good breakfast. Super friendly and efficient staff. I would like to highlight the service from Maru at the front desk. I would stay again and I recommend this hotel with, in addition, an excellent location.

Every interaction feels intentional. They don’t just answer questions; they anticipate needs. They offer insider tips you won’t find online, guide you like locals who genuinely care, and go above and beyond in ways that feel effortless and sincere. You can tell this team is proud of what they do — and it shows.
The location? Untouchable. There is simply nothing that beats it. You are perfectly positioned in Paraty — close to everything that matters, yet wrapped in calm, elegance, and charm. If you want to experience Paraty properly, this is where you stay. Period.

If you are looking for a place in the city where all the action is happening and close to restaurants and shops this is your place. It is in the middle of all the action yet you will never know it. The hotel is quite, clean and well maintained. The 2 swimming pools are heated the hot tubs are clean and feel great. We where lucky to find this place. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sandi Staff for making our stay so great.
