Immaculate location and wonderful staff!

I loved the receptivity of the hostel staff, all wonderful! The location is the best possible, the breakfast is very good too! I had a little problem with reserve shock and they resolved quickly for me, that makes all the difference! The beds are comfortable both in the shared room and in the individual. Some things about cleaning bothered me, I entered the room and there were dirt spots on the table, the bathroom... and the strong smell of naphthalene as well. The suites do not have hot water in the bathroom, which for some may be peaceful, but I especially love a hot bath after a long day of hiking or hiking. I highly recommend staying in the hostel if you have had the experience before!!

Not worth a stay.

The shared rooms are not cleaned. I spent my days in the hostel working, and never once was my room cleaned during the week. A girl checked out of my room, and her dirty sheets stayed on the bed for 3 days. They were only removed when someone else came to check in to that bed and I mentioned the sheets were dirty. The first time I saw my room swept out with a broom was on Saturday. 4 complete days of no cleaning at all, then on the 5th day a broom. Then after that, nothing again.
The one bathroom on the first floor runs out of toilet paper all the time. Also, I do it think it it cleaned either. Other than taking out the trash once the trash can was overflowing, it seems to me that the bathroom is cleaned as much as my room was, almost never. Also, I cannot count the how many times it was being used when I needed the bathroom. The soap container for hand washing was running out of soap so it was filled with water to create more “soap”. I mentioned that more soap was needed as was told someone was buying some. 3 days later, there was still no soap.
Laundry services are advertised, but don’t exist other than paying to wash clothes in a sink by hand.
Breakfast that is expensive for Brazilian standards is a sad offering of bread, cheese and ham. For 20 Reais, that is laughable. One of the reasons I chose to stay at this hostel was the reviews about it having a good breakfast. I don’t know what everyone else was eating, but the breakfast offerings were sad while I was there. On the weekend it improved substantially. Sad since guests pay the same no matter the day of the week for both the stay and breakfast. We deserve the same treatment.
The towel that has a charge seemed dirty to me. The sheets on the bed also did not feel completely clean. I found lots of hairs on the sheets. And they were very coarse and rough.
The layout of the hostel, the age of the house it’s in, and the doors and windows don’t help with noise reduction in the rooms at all.

Muy buena opción en Manaos

Muy buen trato en general!el personal muy amable,habitación con aire acondicionado,muy bien situado(2 mnts del teatro amazonas)en una zona muy segura.En definitiva que recomiendo este hostel 100% por el trato recibido y por la situación del mismo

Foi tudo incrível. Foi uma experiência fantástica. Me senti em casa! Em especial ao proprietário Moacir e a Gerente Suelen. Te ajudam em absolutamente em tudo, São pessoas fora do comum. Um lugar muito aconchegante.

Muito bem cuidado e staff simpático

Adorei minha experiência no Aldeia Hostel. Há um cuidado grande com a limpeza, decoração e espaços de uso comum para os hóspedes. Cozinha bem equipada, duas áreas para comer e um pátio externo, os quartos possuem cama confortável, com cortina, tomada e luz individual, armário com chave. A localização é um ponto forte, menos de duas quadras do Teatro Amazonas. O staff é muito simpático, a Suelen foi muito querida e o proprietário também, sempre fui muito bem atendido. Só achei a parte dos banheiros sufocante, seria bom ter uma melhor ventilação e colocar espelho também.
