Best place to stay in Chapada for adventure trips and meeting solo travelers.

Great hostel/lodge/guesthouse with private rooms, shared rooms, breakfast option, guided tours, a stunning view, great location and excellent staff. Look no further if you want to do combination of amazing treks with gastronomy. Highly recommend.

Service more or less

The facilities are good, the cleaning in the female room was also good in the days I was. Part of the team is nice, but it has a depressing part. I tried to make just one tour with the hostel agency, at first the day I wanted there was no availability. The day before I arrived early from the tour and spent a good part of the afternoon at the hostel and nobody looked for me to talk about the tour, the night I received a message half in English, half in Portuguese (I have no obligation to speak English, after all I am in Brazil), I replied that I anticipated my return to Salvador, the person had the audacity to say “when this is good to warn”. How can I warn you? I didn't even know I had a confirmed ride, nobody gave me any confirmation. That same day, a male employee entered the room and didn't even knock on the door.
Another point is the coffee, it is paid a value of R$ 25,00, a few days later they told me that I had tapioca option, but they only served after 8hs. Most people leave well early because the tours start well early ♫ The idea seems to be not to serve tapioca at all.

Extraordinary

The service of Thomas and Eric was extraordinary thanks to their so welcoming and their attitude that grants a feeling of home.
They are professional about all the related to the Treks planning.
They have a lot of patience and they give a personal service for everyone.
In addition, the atmosphere in their hostel so cozy and being a multicultural meeting for quality backpackers from all over the world.
The rooms include a low number of beds and have a private bathroom and toilet for each room!

Maravilhoso! Superbe! Fantastic!

A fantastic hostel, well organized, a lot of options of treks/tours for all levels. Gathering good price and quality. Eric, Thomas and their team very helpful and sympatics. Vale do Pati is superbe. A week was too short ! I will come back !

Brilliant hostel, staff, and treks!

A brilliant hostel, really well organised with fantastic tours and hikes arranged in-house with the best guides. Eric and his team do a wonderful job at making everyone feel at home, and organising great trek experiences in Chapada Diamantina for all their guests. The view from the terrace where breakfast is served is absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend staying here in Lençóis, and arranging treks with the team directly there - especially the 3 day Vale do Pati trek which was truly unforgettable. Thanks to Eric and the team for an amazing experience, I will definitely be back! :)
