Stellar Vacation

The Marina Hotel is a spectacular place to spend a night or an entire vacation. My wife and I spent four nights there and loved each one. The staff there are incredibly kind and helpful, and the breakfast had tons of fresh fruit, omelet and tapioca made to order bar, fresh squeezed fruit juice, pastries, and more. The hotel restaurant is also an exquisite dining experience. I personally tried the filet mignon and risotto with Citron shavings one night, and their fish, lobster and shrimp dish another one of the nights, as well as sampling my wife’s fish dish. I can confidently say this is all around the best fish I have eaten in my life and the waiter was attentive and friendly, and I felt like I was eating in a private club. In fact, I ended up following the waiter on Instagram and now enjoy watching his content.
Now to the rooms. We had a suite on the fourth floor, and the view was stunning and the room was huge. I highly recommend trying to get a room on the fourth floor as the view from our room was gorgeous and the sunrise came over the ocean through giant windows, lighting the whole place with warm rays. The hotel wasn’t busy and it felt very private. We took walks along the pier, which gave a beautiful view of the coast and the azure water. The hotel is ten minutes from the beautiful downtown of Fortaleza, where great food and immaculate beaches stretch for as long as you can desire.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with our experience at the hotel. The views, the food, the proximity to downtown, the privacy, and the service were all first class. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a luxury stay in Fortaleza.

In Hotel 3 stars I was best treated and welcomed.

A hotel that is still called 5 stars, but that stopped in time, outdated, has little to offer, old furniture (not to say old), charges a high price, to enjoy a room with a view to the sea I paid a high value because they put me a room facing the street, even with very low occupation. To complete, the cherry cake, ordered some food delivery and did not provide me with dishes and cutlery because it is a "house standard", I ate Chinese food with the hand and risotto with the hand.

The staff seem competent and helpful.
The hotel itself is fairly dated and worn.
The room is spacious, the tear of time was quite obvious. We found the room to be a bit noisy from the traffic on the main road next to the hotel.
We didn’t get to try the breakfast, as we left before breakfast time.
